They are in a enclosed space too. None of his videos are genuine, they are all staged and cruel using baby goats to get video clicks/money.

The goat won't be yelling long when the Komodo's incredible stomach acids do their job. Able to dissolve bones, hair, hooves and all.

There is a great possibility that this is not real nature...much probably that poor goat was victim of tourists that paid to see that.....a very sad custom in the touristic way of komodo.....tourists was very happy, they got their photographic and cinematic trophy......sorry for my unperfect english.

Wow, that was crazy to hear that screaming while in the stomach as the acids started to suffocate it. This is nature.

The ones who film this stuff are taking baby goats and breaking the legs so they can't run away. You see this with a lot of these types of channels. Especially the pet 'rescue' ones. They starve or injure or otherwise hurt kittens and puppies then film themselves 'rescuing' them for clicks and views. It's evil.

I think you are talking about different matters. The rescue ones might be true, but this is pretty much nature and fits how komodo dragons hunt. Their nature prey include goats and they hunt with an ambush. If it wasn’t successful on spot, the prey gets paralyzed eventually and the lizard will be able to eat them then. This might be a crazy coincidence and tbh being on this island seeing a paralyzed prey and waiting doesn’t make the chances too low seeing a komodo dragon eating it’s prey, especially considering the person is on the island.. but we may never know but also not make blanket assumptions.

There's a difference between a natural hunting situation and a setup just to be captured on film. This was definitely set up by the person who filmed it. They usually wait until the prey is dead before they start eating it.

That was really disturbing. 😢 0:16 especially that scream.

Probably this poor baby goat is paralyzed by Komodo's venom, unable to run, slowly dying, waiting for its fate. Once bitten, its fate is sealed as Komodo is able to track its prey.

Komodo dragons have an extremely septic bite with very powerful bacteria that causes infection and blood sepsis, but x1000 more than infections we are familiar with. It quickly saps the strength of the animal where its muscles begin to fail and loses energy, and as seen, only enough strength to scream while its being consumed. The quickness of the infection is dependent on the severity of the bite and how much bacteria gets in, but regardless, once that bite is made its only a matter of time.

​@@nicorico1702no, they have no venom glands. Their mouth is a cesspool of toxic or bloodpoisin causing bacteria, to which the dragon itself is more or less immune to. So biting and wounding their prey infects them and the dragon can follow the sick and weakening prey until they can be caught and be eaten, alive or dead.

The comments are disturbing. Are people really surprised by nature? This is life. This is balance. All living things eat. This is normal and not disturbing at all. This dragon guaranteed life to itself for months. The only thing I am amazed by is that when the goat was swallowed it was not cut up at all. How is this thing going to digest an entire animal with hair and hoofs? That must take days, and a ton of pooping. Other than that, its LIFE, and this animal did not intend anything else but to eat and survive. Humans on the other hand ARE brutal. Ask the people in Gaza, who are being killed for NO reason but other people’s superiority.
