LOL ... too late. I'm not worried about it, though. Finally, I got enough time in to get Visix. I earned Hellmut last week. Pulled Whisper and Marichka for CvC. So, even if I fail this fusion, I'm good.

I was not going to go for Shemnath until the 2x points for Ancients and the amazing rewards on the summon rush. I had the shards and I was on the fence before since I don't have the character, but it would mostly be a faction war champ and maybe like a 3rd hydra team champ.

They did the shard events backwards. Summon rush should've been with the 2x sacreds and champion chase with the ancient event. This order forces us to save sacreds and use the ancients. Which means we'll likely be close to shemnath then just say "hey might as well" .

I'm doing the fusion for pretty much the same reason as you :) 1. not a bad champ for Hydra, I love the taunt. 2. big chances they add a new dog.

I'm with ya, I wasn't to stoked for the guarantee but the summon rush works well with it.

Personally, I don't have any of the "pair" champions. It would be cool if he got a really strong legendary or even mythical dog. I doubt they'd do a mythical fusion though. The main issue I heard someone bring up was that it still wouldn't be viable in Live Arena, because people can ban the dog, and you end up with a bad champ on the team.

It's not really efficient is it? A lot of energy used when you could farm campaign instead

As a newer player I like that the summon rush has double point ancients. Sure I will get crap from the pulls, but it is much easier to replace the ancients than other types.

I did the Summon rush, seeing as it's 2x sacred, I'll probably just use my Fragment summon on champ chase, tho it's tempting to skip 2 DD and do both summoning event I don't like the start to this fusion, so I'll finish Champ training now, then do IG tomorrow on DD, then stop after I'm done with it, I'll probably skip the 3rd DD too

Im going for this guy....I'm predicting it'll be worth it, I feel stupid for burning 6 sacreds for the summoning rush cuz I didn't think there'd be a x2

how often was the guarented Champ Event for Ancients? The last one was on christmas, Gnashak, right? So I could maybe use my 150 of my 220 ancients, but Shemnath is only for vault - so dont know what to do

any advice from anyone? i don't have 80 ancient shards, but i have about 4600 gems saved, and 9 sacreds, would it make more sense for me to save the shards for the 2x instead of getting the full 15 frags here?

I do all Artifact Enhancements, because why would I want to roll gear without getting some rewards for it?

can kind of only skip the summon ones as a newer player without banked up shards, which might make participating in the fusion a non-starter, which is kind of a bummer

I grab all the extra frags for chest for maud.

Spent all my shards trying for marichka and gnut, pretty much got all rares from ancients and voids and no legendaries from gold shards, so I’m out for the fusion, oh well at least I know early not to waste anymore resources, using resources on showgun instead

I agree. People keep saying he could be great if they release a leggo or Mythical hound, but that's a big if. Without that happenings he's a good Hydra champ, and the rewards from Hydra aren't hood enlightened that I want this champ badly

Mythical books would be tempting, but they're kind of pointless when you don't have mythical champions. Still missing a Mikage epic (Endalia), never pulled a mythical from a remnant or primal, and Karnage is still months away.

what i dont understand: he's got 3 turn taunt with sth like hellborn sprite, on a 3 turn cd. Doesnt this skill obliterate and carry every wave content in the game? which is half of the game

His Taunt is 2 turn on a 3 turn CD

Taunt doesn't do much if an opponent is too powerful for you, you'd still need a team that could handle the content. And I don't think it can be extended, so it's only 2 turns

I'm just glad they're giving us more fusions worthy of skipping. There needs to be more methods to gain resources if they expect people to interact with these non-stop fusions. Ever since the Fatalis debacle I've made the conscious decision to not support Plarium for the foreseeable future. They killed any good will from me as a result of that farce.

this guy is a pass for me sadly. i think with the current selection of hounds that combo with him hes C-tier at best. i suspect that they will add one or 2 more to say they've done something with him but i dont have super high hopes of this. Plarium historically has done a garbage job of going back to tweak older champions. they put more effort into making new, novel champions than making old ones relevant again. i dont see this new fragment summon as something thats going to gain a whole lot of value.

Appreciate the breakdown but so tired of this FOMO crap. It's not enough that RNG rules the game already.
