At 2:06 you say Octavia, but I can forgive you that. Because the rest of the vid was.. I didn't wanted it end! The kids showed up and I prepared for more fun, but then you signed off. Awesome car, great vid, drone is only welcome addition. Wanted to see more about this cool spec, more detail shots and how spacious etc. Keep on, Bob!

It's a TSI not a TFSI. Good cars, I drive a Cupra with the same motor. Golf R shares the same motor.

Nice review Bob.. I had the opportunity to drive that exact car 2 weeks ago at the Pilsen Auto RS owners day and have to say it is some machine I loved it. But id find it very difficult to justify paying near 52k on the superb 15 k more than my RS as apart from power and size the 2 cars are near identical inside and out. I love the colour but it would be some sleeper car in black or silver

Hi Bob. Excellent review. Will sign up to a donation once my new debit card from my new bank arrives. I have a question for you if that's okay. I'm looking at the Skoda Octavia VRS 2.0 diesel and the Skoda Superb Sportline 2.0 diesel 150bhp with upgraded 19" alloys. I've always driven manual transmission cars. But this time around I'm considering DSG. If you were to chose between these two models yourself, what would you chose and what transmission would you chose? Thanks in advance for any advice.

What's the price for that bob ? Probably more than a GTi?

A bit late to your video but does anyone know how low it is to get in to the drivers seat of the Superb? I'm currently driving a 2016 BMW M135i and it's low and playing havoc with my knees getting in and out. Any info greatly appreciated

I know, I've had a Skoda week and slipped the tongue. It's got 40mpg easy so long as you keep it out of sport.

Love it Bob.As a motability member am always looking at cars.Got to have a new car by this time next year,Must be Auto am looking at the Seat Leon st fr and the Skoda octavia estate.What do you think.I have a 2008 at the moment which is great.

Skoda Octavia estate. It has a flat floor in the boot where the SEAT has a small step. It might make a difference if there are chairs involved. Skoda also has a wider front door opening. They both have a decent area for hand controls should you need that.

Absolutely outrageous that mobility users have their cars replaced every 3 years....no wonder were so deep in debt. Shouldn't get a new one for 7 years or 100000 miles.

Music is too loud, or mic volume too low, needs to be balanced out. Its 276bhp, 280psi. Also it's a Superb, not an Octavia It would be good to hear more about the car like a few other reviews with a bit more detail.

Loving the drone shots Bob, way more of the same please. Also very nice car and colour. #SMASHTHATLIKEBUTTON

Didn`t hear the tractor but why is the bloody music so loud!! I don`t know what it is with youtube content creators that they want everyone to be constantly on their volume controls to avoid the family rushing in shouting "Turn it down". Then we get to the important bit of the review and can`t hear it.

not left with much sense of the car interior - or too much sense of what its like too drive - but a lot of music and general chat - you have done better IMO

Gotta agree tbf. Would liked to have learned a little bit more detail about the car in this review: ie: What's it like as a getaway vehicle, can you properly scare your kids/mother-in-law in it down a twisty B-road, does it park itself when the wife's borrowed it etc, etc? ;) But Bob, we fackin' love ya, generally, so I'll not doc your wages...this time...! ;) Drone shots are nice imho. Less sheep.

Your music is way too loud! It shouldn't be louder than your voice! Music is a very polarizing thing, so unless you are running a music KZread channel, you should keep it at a minimum.

A bit of a character... sounds drunk... but hey that's a good thing. Each sober moment is a wasted moment. There are so many sleepers, though, that 280 PS in a 1600 kg car is only just there. An Audi RS6 is the ultimate sleeper but pricey. The Passat had a sleeper a few years ago but it never sold. This may do better.

Bob, drone shots look fab, but be careful with flying the drone around animals, cattle, HORSES etc, as the noise the drone makes can drive them mad, they seem to think it sounds like a horsefly or something, I just don't want you in trouble with the jockey society!!!

A few very annoying pet peeves: - on every one of your videos the music is WAY too loud and your mic/voice WAY too silent - please do something about this - it would be nice if you spent more time on reviewing the car than talking about the scenery, road work, colours (really?) or how the little youtube bell button works... - take the time to learn (and to PRONOUNCE!) some terms specific to car reviews, like "Alcantara" - it will make you sound more professional - asking viewers to subscribe 3 times during a 12 minute video is TOO much! - viewers will subscribe (or not) regardless of your asking, based on the quality of the videos/reviews Cheers!

In this video there's about a minute where there's a music bed and for the other 9 minutes of video there isn't ANY music. In that one minute I can hear everything I say perfectly. The intro music is way up, and then I have to reach for the volume up knob to hear what you're saying. I suppose I could get a sound meter and show you the results, but it's a bit overkill and overinvolvement - I'll just settle for my comment on this and the other few comments mentioning this. --- "How about I do what makes this channel different?" That's a healthy road to take, in general, but every "different" is different. Fiat-Multipla-different is the wrong kind. --- "Now this is just being silly. People don't just subscribe, I know this after seven years and 13.5 million views where I never asked anyone to do anything." And this comes after 7 years of content consumer or just content producer? Do you subscribe to channels only because the host "reminds" you to subscribe? --- "[...] but right now my channel is growing very fast and the number of positive comments that come in is very high." And does that mean you're on a youtube-ego-stroking-high and critiques are not welcome? That's should be a warning sign... --- "Now, you can watch and join in with my channel and the craic we have or you can go elsewhere and get the kind of content you want." Now, that's just rude and butthurt narrow mindedness, Bob, the like you see on pimple faced youtube "famous" celebs. It's beneath you. Don't. I've been a subscriber for 5+ years and your channel is the only motoring/cars/reviews channel I'm subscribed to, because yours was different, a good kind of different. But in the last year or so something changed, technically and quality wise. Now, you can take this "bull" as constructive critique (as it was meant), or as the little youtube-analytics-red-devil compels you to - "another disgruntled viewer who insists on clinging to your channel and throws manure at you for no good reason". Just keep in mind that the vast majority of viewers are lurkers who don't bother to leave comments, mainly because they don't care for interaction or just simply don't care. Taking the comments of those tens or hundreds who do at face value ("the number of positive comments that come in is very high") is a slippery slope. I'm one of those lurkers, Bob; this is my first comment on your channel - which was almost an unsubscribe click, but then I thought "hey, let me just stick with the man a little longer and help him out with a piece of advice"; because I actually CARE about this channel, Bob, and I want it to grow stronger and healthier.
