A similar thing has happened with the Vogue and Scraped Lambda holos. Not only does the scraped Lambdas not look good anymore (which im hoping they'll fix). They also dont really fit like glasses anymore.

Lambda Holo suffers from the same fate as the Furia holo. completely changes the foil color scheme.

What concers, its still limited test. They are obviously going to fix it, its just not their priority rn.

I mean they are making public videos about it, and valve isn't unaware of these issues I'm sure. Skins isn't a priority, gameplay is. Once that is fixed I'm sure they will start paying more attention to the aspect of the game that has gained them billions...

Non dev's not understanding shit and not realizing that shaders/sticker placement and looks are easy to fix compared to gameplay, and this panic over bullshit just creates more content aka free advertisement. They can easily create a problem just to divert the attention from something else, or be Heroes when they fix shit they broke themselfes.

Yeah my dam steel bfly looks so much worse in cs2. Also wear on my field tested skins is insanely noticeable whereas in go I have pretty clean looking ft

It's unfortunate, I have a UMP with a Cloud9 Holo applied in the first position in csgo but in cs2 it appears in the last position xD They also ruined my M4 that had a scratched Natus Holo Katowice 2014, in csgo only a slightly scratched tip was visible, Now the whole sticker is scratched around it, it's really unfortunate, I feel like they've shit on me, on everyone, if the money belonged to them, they would immediately make a change, but if it belongs to the players, it doesn't matter, right? sad.

Not only that but I’ve notice how much more scratched up they made my ft st hyperbeast. In csgo the blue background is prominent but in cs2 the whole blue background is scratched out showing just gun metal

Wear amounts on stickers are messed up too, my health stickers were scratched to the point where only the hearts show, now the gold foil in cs2 is back and all scratched up looks like shit 🤬

uv tiling scales and up res. Considering cs2 is using much higher res tex for EACH SINGLE skins, pretty much means artists have to manually adjust the scales and positions of these sticker locations ONE BY ONE just to match the old look. Knife wise, it's the spec/reflection roughness map, so not really an easy fix, not too hard either but it's a one skin by one skin fix.

Yeah I looked into some skins and was contemplating on trying to get a Damascus for cs2 but with the lighting it just doesn’t feel right so I went for a slaughter instead, like it’s not as good as I wish but the different red colors at least pop out more and looks better than what the Damascus and autotronic do but hopefully it will get fixed

Same thing happened to Tiger Tooths. They looked like they had their colours swapped around and don't shine like they used to

One of the holos that got a buff in my opinion are the rmr 2020 holo stickers. especially the Spirit ones. They got a lot more color somehow

I think we should wait for the full release (and even then some since there’s no doubt going to be more fixes that are more important on launch) before freaking out

The worst of them is the koi fish foil. It's colour is normally orange but in cs2 it's purple

I have a Freehand flipknife and it looks so much darker than in csgo which looks really really bad in certain lighting spots and okay-ish in others really hope they fix it so it looks a lot better soon especially since its #1 in the world atm :(

Whole engine gamma and color vibrance or whaterver is messed up, about brightness i had to pull it down to 80% to play game "normally"

the awp mortis also had a big down grade in CS2, they took away the the shine it had in csgo and now it looks like wood

I think cs2 has bigger problems than misaligned stickers atm.

perhaps this is such a well agreed upon take that no one even needs to say it but crimson web knives look absolutely terrible. Way over exposed to the point where you often cant even see the webs on the knife at all in bright lighting and the wear on them looks so strange. Theres not much crimson or web about them at all right now.

rare star pattern on the UMP Moonrise got ruined too. star completely missing

They also fucked up the colors on the copenhagen flames holo.. I used them for asiimov crafts because they had the perfect colors of orange, black, and white, and now in CS2 its blue, orange, and white. Like how....

A lot of the stickers that look great in csgo look like shit in cs2. The holos look bland and the Ch aks that have gold in them look like some brown rust

to be fair, matte finishes on knifes would be interesting, I guess it's just that I'm not used to seeing them :p

The M4A1-S is fucked too lmao. I have a Kato15 holo craft on it and the stickers just intersect with each other cuz they're too big.

It just feels that it is meant to fit new models. Like stickers on deagle looks like they would fit perfectly on new bugger model. But they just dont give a f. They will probably fix it in like week in one go.

My personnal complain is the black mesh safari mesh awp being completely gone, i own a 0.79 float safari mesh and now it basically looks like garbage

Black colors are grey. They have too much white in them so the contrast is completely wrong. So many craft lineups are messed up. We can’t see the butt of guns in game. The sniper scope is HUGE and takes up way too much space on the screen when playing. I can barely see my sticker craft on the scope when looking at it in game. They need to fix so many broken things about skins.

I put an enemy spotted on a jaguar to make a poor man's pink panther. It looked fine in csgo but it looks like trash in cs2

Just the fact that any weapon with a skin on it hasn't been put onto the new weapn model, makes me think that these are placeholders for the beta, and they'll rework all the skins for the new gun models. The USP looks incredibly different, for one!

Skins are probably the last thing they are gonna fix as if they fix them and then fix something else they might break them again and have to fix the twice. Just a guess though

Just bought a nice bowie autotronic knife the other day at a discount knowing it looks skuffed, I have faith that Valve will fix it

Yeah valve knows that skins are a very important aspect of the game, so I doubt they're going to leave these unfixed. These fixes are just at the bottom of the priority list because they're cosmetics

@@Hitogamii_ valve isn't stupid, they're well aware that the biggest money maker from the counterstrike series is the skins market, and cases. There is no way in hell they would shake the fan bases trust in that market- it would be throwing away free money on their part.

It seems no one has metioned the fact that UMP-45 stickers are in completely different locations in CS2 vs CSGO. Not many people have UMP crafts, but the sticker positions are completely changed.

They NEED to fix Case Hardened skins

Way too many skins are broken or just ugly now, Slaughter downgrade is crazy for example, it looks so dull now, used to be one of my favorite knife finishes. I just hope they will fix it until actual release.

I think the IBP holo on the Ak jaguar looks much better in cs2. The scale of the sticker is perfectly sized with the jaguars body now. Csgo version looks bad. Rip weasel tho

Negev | Mjölnir looks like it's made of cardboard in cs2. also anubis map stickers on the anubis souvenirs are not loading in cs2, like they forgot the file or something. also some other stickers are bugged out. and don't even start me on the glitter stickers, they are absolutely hideous in cs2. that all said, some of the skins and stickers actually look better now (like the rmr 2020 holo)

Before the CS2 "public" beta release I bought a M4A4 Asiimov BS with .456 float. In csgo it looks great, in cs2 it looks like ass, scratches everywhere. Major disappointment for me.

im not toughing skins until they full release cs2. They are gonna have to re-work so many skins because they look nothing like they did in csgo1, ruining the prices.

Gold stickers also look dull and not shiny at all, CS:GO gold stickers look far shiner which makes no sense considering the new engine loves to make things shiny.

When cs2 was brand new, day 1, I had access. My 96% awp blaackimov was completely ruined in cs2. It had a white scope! I happened to get in a game with a cs2 artist, I complained about it, and it was fixed the next uodate. Complain!

Case hardened was never good in the first place

The lightning strike is still so bad quality and not shiny at all

all maps are too bright, all skins are too dark, except for the ones where you get blinded at a certain angle, almost all skins look to me like they are grayscale, inspect skins and playing with that same skin are two different things.

I also think they ruined the bloodsport ak and should have kept its plastic look
