This is a DROP Ride
Спорт
Sometimes you pick a route because the wind is blowing that way. Kanan and Encinal are not my favourite roads, especially not climbing Kanan through the tunnels. So I roped my friends into coming with me, knowing all they really wanted to do was descend Encinal. Along the way we lost half the gang, but this is road cycling - we hurt each other then stand around and chat like it never happened. Alex wasn't enjoying the crosswinds in a group and bailed early. Taylor had been suffering for a few weeks with the dry air we get this time of year, and his heart almost exploded on the main climb. We also found out he had a slow leak!

@@untamednme869 it could be a number of different things. From the sounds of it, it seems to be coming from the crank/bottom bracket area. Especially with the insane power he is putting through the pedals. That is just from what I hear in the video though. @@dietherviado sooooo many customers that would come in with a creaky "bottom bracket" and about 50% of the time it was coming from somewhere other than there. Headset, seatpost, rear wheel not tight enough, creaky spokes, just to name a few. Worst were those you thought you found the creak and got rid of it, give the bike back to the customer and they come back a week later and say it is back again. "Well, we know it wasn't "x" part now. On to the next part to diagnose." 🤣

Doesn't sound like the BB to me, but it is definitely occurring in both the big ring and small ring on Safa's bike in sync with his cadence. It honestly just sounds like the RD indexing is out and the chain is rubbing on the next largest cog.

The way they keep leap-frogging each other on the final descent really shows the advantage of riding in the draft.
