Better IR loaded than I could have asked for. So stoked, been loving it.

I've been (unknowingly) waiting for this IR loader for a long time, it's so good. Anyone reading this, go download the demo, you won't be disappointed.

Yeah they really went above and beyond on this one, very happy with it so far

This plugin combined with NAM is the winning combination.

Great video, Nathan! Ill be doing one soon as well if time permits. Dropped a dirac spike in Cabinetron so I got a "flatline" EQ curve out of it then played with all the settings in Plugin Doctor just to see what everything does. Non Linear mode is basically a light distortion on the low end. Im pretty sure its just a saturator with a cutoff around 1khz. Its subtle. Doubler is a static delay of 20ms on one channel as opposed to the neural DSP variant will modulate the delay and channel volumes ever so slightly on a random LFO. The X/Y filter is basically a comb filter with one of their "mutation" style EQ's (basically a "flattened" IR that is relatively flat but maintains the dips and peaks of an IR over the horizontal plane). Ive been busy with life stuff but in the time Ive had, I found a couple things that could be helpful for them. I hope their open to suggestions as I totally agree with you that the scope and size of this plugin really does open your mind up to "what if we could do THIS with it" kinda thoughts. Im sure theyre being bombarded as we speak. I like your idea of collapsing everything to one slot, clearing the other slots and (i assume) resetting all the other parameters. Im going to mention that in my video essay to them if thats cool with you.

Hah this is all awesome info! And yeah totally go for it. I just noticed when I exported a few blends I was like, if I could do this without exporting that would be handy. My main EQ use on a guitar bus is LP/HP and if I hear a dud resonance I’ll find it and notch it out. If they added the ability to solo a notch in their eq module that would help a ton in isolating/hunting things. I thought about emailing them as well but also assumed others would so I didn’t want to pile on, happy to hear you’re onto it 💪. I know Ed emailed them about some bugs and they got a fix out in a couple days so they seem super responsive, promising stuff.

@@ampspedalspickups Yeah, totally. I feel like its going to be typical workflow for users to make a tone then want to combine it with some others. Just make it a 1-click process.

@@ampspedalspickups My big 3 wishlist enhancements are an overall freq graph of the current blend on all 3 screens, auto align being automatically run each time a new IR is loaded, and fixing the volume dip when muting or soloing slots. But they have done a stunning job.

Honestly, the tagging system alone is worth the price tag. The only thing I see they don't have that I've seen elsewhere is being able to multiband IRs. The overloud supercab or whatever it's called can auto-split the frequencies without having any phase issues at the crossover so if you have an IR you like but the low end is too boomy, for example, you could load another IR just for the bottom end I know you didn't like the position and distance adjustments, but if they work correctly, they would negate the need to have 20 different IRs for the same cab. The 19 other IRs that come in the 20 IR pack for a particular cab are usually just different positions and sometimes distances from the cab. Now if they could figure out a way to virtually add and swap out microphones, this thing would be unstoppable

Had never heard of supercab but thats pretty cool. Would be awesome if they keep building onto cabinetron with these kinds of things or package it into a 1.5 or 2.0 paid update. I wont mind paying an upgrade fee if all these cool ideas start to funnel into the software to continuously make it the most comprehensive IR loader, will be interesting to see how they go with it

@@ampspedalspickups Ha ha, this plugin made me realise i have more Ir's and tonal palette than i will ever need anymore xD. and for once, the loader comes with some really solid factory IR's.

True I haven’t even explored theirs a ton! Yeah I have armies of IRs from the axefx2 days and I also need to sift through it all and get some streamlined stuff happening

Such a great plugin, super versatile and intuitive. What is that riff? I know it but can’t for life of me remember. Something like Rise Against or Bullet For My Valentine?

For me, the non linear option sounded a bit wider but less defined at 100%. Might have a more desirable result in a mix? Not sure.

Yeah take a look at the options at 02:13. I quickly show the menu. Should also be fine exporting for a hardware modeller with no issues.
