This Incredible Woman Built Herself A Tiny House In Lockdown!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this weeks episode we meet Bérangère, an inspiring young woman who amazingly built her very own tiny house during lockdown in France. Her spectacular home is named ‘La Belle Idée, which translates to the beautiful idea.
Bérangère was inspired to build her tiny home after spending four years traveling and realising she desired a place to call home. With minimal possessions and still wanting a place which would give her options for where she could live, she decided a tiny house would be the perfect home.
Originally, she had intended to construct her home together with others as part of a tiny house building workshop, but lockdown in France put an end to the workshop after the first week and Bérangère was then left to complete the home on her own.
The result is a beautiful and inspiring build. We hope you enjoy the video tour of this wonderful tiny house which absolutely lives up to it’s name!

Hey team! We really hope you enjoy this weeks video as we're trying out a bit of a different format. As we are STILL unable to travel outside of New Zealand, we are trying to work with some overseas videographers to help us continue to tell stories from around the world. The idea is that episodes like this one will be mixed in amongst our regular tours. Please let us know your thoughts and if you're happy to see more videos like this one! With love, Bryce & Rasa

@@angelfirelite What a *tiny* mortgage she'd have, though, *if* she has one at all. And she didn't tell us what she was paying for her parking spot. She may have a deal with the land owners. As for a dog, well, she hasn't got one, but it looks as though there is a massive amount of space for a dog to run. 🤪 I guess if she wants to she can plant a garden. Why not? Maybe it's not your thing, but lots of people are taking this option to save on having a large mortgage and yet they own their own home. After all, the alternative could be to *rent* your accommodation, which is expensive, and doesn't work for everyone. This way, you aren't stuck in one place, and moving is not such a big deal. Plus, she owns the house. It's a winning position to be in. 👍👍👍😄😄😄 The biggest plus for her though, was the sense of accomplishment and empowerment she has from the process! Not something to scoff at! 😳🥴🤪

This tiny house is so much "my style" The personal touches, and all the stories behind each thing, the tables, pillows, chairs, books, plants EVERYTHING! That door to the bathroom caught my eye right away. I love the curtains, they add so much softness and feel very organic. This is a tiny house you come HOME to. And the fact that she did this to such a degree is fantastic! I was enchanted through the whole tour, she has such a beautiful heart and personality it just shines. I enjoyed it very much, the style was very much in keeping with LBIATH so the flow throughout the video was familiar and comforting (why I love your videos so very much) and she was comfortable in front of the camera as well! I can't express enough, how happy I've been to be able to not only enjoy all the new content you and Rasa have worked so hard to bring us over the past 2 years, but being able to always go back to older shows and binge watch them too!! I loved the Iron Age Welsh (I think- I'll check again) Village you went to three or four years ago with that amazing lady curator (such passion for her work) Are there places like that in New Zealand? I love how you and Rasa showcase your videos, so it doesn't have to be a tiny house every time. Just a thought. Thank you so much for all the work and love you put into not only these videos, but your entire channel/endeavor together. It feels amazing to be a part of this "family" you've created among all of us who watch you!

What an absolutely gorgeous young lady. I adore her and her fabulous home, which perfectly reflects her solid, no nonsense personality and also her raw, natural beauty. I love women who are practically minded and who are prepared to roll up their sleeves and fearlessly embrace the learning curve required to take on a project of such magnitude. Berangere has poured her heart and soul into this build, so the wonderful result was never in doubt. When creativity meets with dogged endeavour the outcome is always guaranteed to be 100% positive. The door is a work of art in itself. A total triumph of a spontaneous imagination. Her ethos and her relaxed demeanour will, I hope ( and strongly believe ) ensure she leads a very happy and fulfilling life. I wish her love, peace and joy x
