4:39 hey im the creator of this level ! since you played it, i own you an explaination. this level is only one start pos, placed at the maximum of pixel on the x axis, and since gd i kinda broken everything explode and you are stuck at 99% fun fact, since it is a start pos, if you copy the level, put the spawning gamemode as anything and have mega hack v7 with smart start pos on, you will still have the bug but with all the gamemode, it even work with a dual and mini !

4:31 I think I know what causes that bug, this may be wrong because I’m not 100% sure. There’s a glitch in GD where if you make a level long enough once you get to a certain point of the level, the x position stops updating causing the level to become impossible. The first time I learned of this was in a video about the impossible level “Dolorem Aeterna”. For people who don’t know, Dolorem Aeterna is the hardest physically possible, meaning it is possible for a bot playing perfectly to beat it. Anyways, Dolorem Aeterna is a 16 hour long beast of a level that consists of 400,000 FPS 2 player frame-perfect wave spam. The level requires an FPS of like 450,000 or the highest FPS GD can actually use. The level was originally supposed to be longer, but it was discovered that beyond a certain point, the player’s x-position would stop updating making the level physically impossible. I think the level was supposed to be like a year long or something I’m not too sure. Dolorem Aeterna has since been deleted from the servers however there are still copies of an old version of the level the is easier and is also half as long, while the unnerfed version is gone. Apparently there is a way to fix the bug of the x-position not updating, but again I’m not too sure if you can actually do that. The bigger question I have with the level EVW showed is how it starts at the end of the level, I think there might be a start position or something or maybe a broken Teleportaion Portal. Also the fact the cube looks the way it does is strange, previous showcases of the bug I described don’t show that behavior with the distortion of the textures. My guess for why the texture distorts like that is because it’s at the end of the level, but again I’m not sure. And if you’re wondering if you do leave GD running for a week on that level it won’t complete it.

I found a bug while messing around with megahack v5 where if you set the speed to -240000 you could see these effects amplified and if you use other gamemodes things get really weird

Just for that "impossible" level: When the level is too long in the X axis, (about 36 hours on 0,5x speed IIRC) the programming will break and you simply can't progress farther in the X axis. There was startpos placed at the last possible tile and then hack verified. For the twisted cube idk but it probably happens because of the reasons stated above and it is similar to the wave trail bug on phones which worsen the farther you go.

5:27 it changes depending on what fps u have. the lower the fps the more broken it is. at 40 fps it is more broken when you jump but you are not stretched. also at 40 fps you sometimes get separated from your glow. at 10 fps it is the same but when you land it does not stop glitching. I will upload a video of this to my channel soon to show what i mean.

I’m just sitting on my bed in awe, how Eric’s voice isn’t dying by saying IMPOSSIBLE, while my throat is killing me by saying nothing.

For the level in the thumbnail it uses a start pos to put you around 16 hours in the level and around there is where the x position of the cube stops updating so thats how that level works

There's a set of three levels by Maelaris (may-lare-us) called, "I'm bored," "I'm bored again," and "I'm bored again again" that I think you might find interesting for this. All three abuse some sort of hitbox or other glitch effect to make the level seem impossible at first. There's one that forces a non-two player mode dual to become "asynchronous" in a way. They're really cool, honestly.

EVW, the last level you played in this video, there was actually a way. Smack the top of the ship's hitbox to the bottom of the top block in the small gap and hold and it's possible.

7:13 i tried replicating that and it worked out. you need to add a block under the player and above the player then move the block thats above the player down 3 times and then the block under the player up 3 times, then add D blocks to the blocks then alpha trigger and then move trigger lock to player y and x (must be inside the machine thing) and then done

However, it’s only possible with megahack v6 and v7.

2:13 go to the top (don’t go to the ship portals) the mini wave and spike hit boxes will allow you to get through, so that’s why it’s a harder instead of an insane

This series has been SICK!

The level lasts for a week, BUT because of this bug with the stuck icon, you can only play it for 30 hours, after that the icon will simply stop. In this level, they just put a far starting position using the Cheat Engine.

if you do 4x speed it might be possible do beat the level in like 2 days at 5:00

for that last one, i have an idea. You know how the ufo and the ship sometimes clips through blocks before dying right after? It happens when you go close to the top of the block but not quite high enough so you hit the corner, and then when you don't press anything, you go down into the block and die. Maybe you can straighten yourself out when your partially inside the block so your red and white cube and his shiny ship doesn't explode!

4:30 this level got to the limit of game engine where your icon is just stop moving cause of the thing called "x-position limit" which is make the level itself can't be beaten no matter what you do, it depend on how high ur fps is. The level got total 10k minutes which is break x-position limit in every fps even in 1 fps

About the level... I'm pretty sure it has to do with floating-point numbers. Computers need to work with big numbers and small decimals. Suppose I want a number storage type with 4 digits. Storage type A arranges them "XXX.X". It can store numbers from 000.1 to 999.9. If I'm at X-position 999.8 and I move 0.1 more, I go to 999.9. Simple! However, it can't store small numbers like 0.01 or big ones like 5000. Storage type B allows you to change where the decimal point is. It can store numbers from .0001 to 9999. It can store 0.010 and 5000. Looks better! This is basically how floating-point numbers work. But, notice that if I'm at X-position 9998 and I move 0.100 more, I can't move to 9998.1, since it has too many digits. My position rounds back down to 9998, and I don't move at all! I suspect that this is also why shapes are drawn weirdly. If I'm at X-position 9998 and one of my corners is 0.100 ahead of me, its position gets rounded down. Sometimes, three of the corners don't get far enough, and they all end up at the same X-position!
