Firstly thanks for the kind comment, my current kit…. That’s a iPhone pro max 14 and a DJI Gimbal. But current saving for a DLSR if I can make my channel work

When are the class 800s going into service on Avanti?

There’s no real official line other then early 2023 well the early part has gone and it just says 2023 ! But considering there isn’t even a 805 in the Avanti livery would say it’s a bit off. And when I say there isn’t there probably is and I’ve just not seen it yet.

I guess it all comes down to cost ! I know on the way into Bristol from the north it is electrified

Spent millions on preparing for it at Box Tunnel and Bath. Also Oxford you got to change at Didcot for a diesel shuttle?????

I agree, calling all you videos epic is a bit over the top. 30 minutes would be long enough to watch.

An ok vjdeo, but not worthy of the description of epic which xeems much over used and too long at 1 hour. Your captions are not clear enough and not visable longg enough.

I will openly admit the video content could be done with being split between Stafford and Bristol as for the word epic ok that’s noted as for the text in the video again a very good point and I will look to change that in my next lot of videos thank you for the feedback

I remember Bristol TM in the late 70s when Bath Road depot was open, and possibly 10 classes of diesel loco could be seen (08, 25, 31, 33, 37, 45, 46, 47, 50, 56), and that's without the 'boring' HSTs and DMUs. To be honest, I'm surprised anyone bothers spotting/filming the endless procession of near-identical DMUs/EMUs these days. But one day, when there's driverless monorails all over the country, old people will be on KZread searching for videos of the Class158 🙂
