Demuslim had this game in his hands with that absolutely beautiful opening and threw it all away with the most bizarre decision making after reaching castle age.

I feel like among pro players, DeMuslim is the one I consistently see get into leads but not be able to close things out. Sometimes it's bad strategy choices. Sometimes it's not noticing a bunch of vils getting killed. This time it was both.

All it takes to win vs HRE as china is to kill 15 villagers with a demo ship, and also the best player in the world piloting china. Jokes aside what an incredible game.

One of the best strategic games yet. The play by play calls were even better. Big help for a lowly peasant like me. Would love to see a defensive strategy video. Especially around using the terrain to place walls/ defensive bldgs placements.

as hre. the best food source are farms under achen. just drop 5-10 farms asap. and if you want to deny the pond in the middle. just drop 2 outposts and springhalds/arrowslits. quite a weak play by demuslim

yes, that ban was only in round 1. This is round 3 now

Best opening ever but then a truly mediocre castle age. All he needed to do was to set up farms and go to imp. Instead he fought for control of a meaningless pond and lost one quarter of his villagers in the process. I'm sure the loser was face palming after this game.

Chinese tends to play slow, allowing HRE to boom and, once HRE gets comfortable, it’s really hard to hurt them.

Hardest MU would be HRE vs Delhi.

I play both china and delhi and both matchups vs HRE are absolutely terrible.

Why is HRE v Delhi such a tough matchup? I don’t play either often so my knowledge is pretty low on them

@@eroddy2513 HRE hast access to 2nd age men at arms and thus is able to harass Delhi gold very early, while Delhi has no decent counter until you're able to mass either horsemen or archers. Until then your scholar production is slowed and it's unlikely you'll be able to get a hold of the sacred sites. That means HRE will likely go to castle age faster than you and from there on out it's straight downhill for Delhi.

DeMuslim isn't actually Muslim. He's named in honor of Muhammad Ali the boxer.

I have seen Plastic level players not make mistakes like Demuslim made. And not only did he make the mistake, he did it again, and again, lost 13 vills, sent 5 more over lost them to another demo ship, and then kept going after the fish. We also need to stop calling all these guys "pro Players" the only different between them and a Gold 1 player is APM. So just refer to them as high APM level players and not pro.

TBF it's a high stress environment, and without god vision, it's easy to get fixated on the "large eco" right in front of your base rather than the triple granary in the back that he couldn't see.
