Situated in a residential area of Ankleshwar, Layered House is a perfect blend of modern and traditional elements, just like the client wanted.
A large living room with sloping roof opens out into two open spaces, a pond on one side and a luscious green garden on the other. A striking red staircase adds vibrance to the dining space which is otherwise decked in subtle textures and colours like the rest of the house. A balcony with sloping roof finished using clay tiles acts as a traditional addition to this contemporary design.
The house is divided into three primary layers, the foyer, the living area, and the rear spaces that accommodate the bedrooms, the kitchen, and the dining, beautifully cascading into a neat elevation from north towards south.

Different Facade ,good layout and nice intirear ,but to climb 14feet headroom through single flight is not so practical , material palette is very nice but not complimented each zone still it's different and compelled to applaud

Except the stairs nothing attracts me.. no wow factor at all.. disappointing to see the office n Pooja area .. sorry to the owners..

Remember portland building.
I liked the layout, idea of a round table at the entrance, corner space for office…and everything else feels depressing to me. The transition from traditional to modern to minimalist is absurd. I don’t think I would feel comfortable living here.

Gujarat, 700+ sq yards, 3bhk, if one big store room & out side workers rooms then may more good, semi modern semi luxurious house, small pooja room, garden size not big, nice kitchen, not so big not so small house, its definitely dream house if adjust little bit, if this is my house i make some changes, i build one more bedroom, may groom total house need 1_2 cr want spend to make house more attractive, plot size is not bad. Its ready to move dream house..

@SudarshanAshiya giving it look of a temple doesn't hurt. If someone wants to feel the aura of a temple at home then thats great and must be appreciated.
Garden is ok, floor color is fine . The bedroom , facade and living room poorly planned and decorated . Many things looks out of place . The temple like feature looks very odd. It looks very unappealing.
Omg stairs looks so scary and ugly. Seriously. Please make glass and kinda wooden look modern stairs.
Neither it looka traditional nor contemporary. Fusion of both resulted in a shed like structure. Expensiv marble doesnt match with colors. Overall architect work is not justified.
Neither timeless nor zen. Some rooms look scary, others look lifeless. 'Pathetic' might be the right word.
Putting up all the blocks of spaces and calling a house is not a design
misture of traditional facade and modern facade does not go well
If you use your mind more enough than needed ; this type of trash came out. Total waste of land and money. In the name of tradition they only give clay roof that's it. No garbhgrih...!

Your commentary on the house is very poor…English accent is very poor. The house is lovely but the presentation is very poor. Use a woman’s voice or a man who speaks impeccable English..sorry that is was very disappointing. Living in USA…had hopes to use ideas were destroyed.

They could have used mix of both, a small intro narration by the architects and the rest by some others.
