That Ford looks amazing

Saw this truck in person at SEMA. The Ram and Ford were equally impressive. In discussion with the guys at the booth, it apparently rides really, really well. So odd looking under the wheel wells and not seeing the usual components. So I pay for KZread Premium and now I am getting forced-Nissan ads embedded in TFL videos? Might be time to start unsubscribing to some of these channels that are doing this.

Class 3 and lower are light duty trucks. Class 4, 5, and 6 are medium duty. Class 7 and 8 are heavy duty.

I drive an ambulance and at 25K miles it developed a leak in the suspension, we are constantly resetting it, it does weird things. Sometimes its dropped, sometimes its at full height. We dont hate it, it works but i wouldnt trust it in remote places or in an overlanding environment. Having said that ambulances never rest. Hopefully in the privatr sector theyll perform better as theyll be less punished. Sweet rig nonetheless and great work as always TFL keep SEMA coming

As someone who has rebuilt Datsun and Nissan since I was 14 years old, I wouldn't give a Renault/Nissan to my worst Enemy. In 2019, the Japanese Government tried to force a Merger between Honda and Nissan. To remove any financial obstacles, the Japanese Government offered Honda an (interest-free Loan) for Honda to buy the controlling Nissan shares from Renault. Honda had three meetings with Nissan, and Honda informed the Japanese Government that Honda could NOT fix the internal problems at Nissan. The damage that Renault has caused since 1999 at Nissan is permanent. Honda refused to acquire Nissan.

Nissan Frontiers pro4x are just fi e BUT Nissan NEEDS to change their in-video TFL commercials to better reflect TFL's actual audience ... Basically their commercial sucks and NEEDS to look and sound more like a Ford Bronco commercial so it doesn't look so out of place in this TFL video! There is NO creativity or ANYTHING that grabs me. Nissan should look at Superbowl Commercials to find out what works and doesn't work! If Ford or GMC or even Toyota sponsored these TFL videos, I am very sure they would make a much more EXCITING set of commercials to sell their product! Make a better commercial Nissan. EXCITE ME! Don't bore me to death!

@@toriwilliams500 What, 26-inch rims? Are you serious? In 2008, the average chevy wheel size was (15" to 17"). I don't know. If you went to a 26" rim, and if it's automatic, then it could be the Torque Converter, Shocks, Breaks, Calipers, U-Joint, or the Suspension. When you drastically change the geometry of a car's engineered specs, then most of what I cited above will start to break down if you don't upgrade them to match the changes that you have made.

Andrey, thanks for the video! A zoom-out of the entire truck while it was lowering, or at least after it was fully lowered would have been awesome!

RAM very beautiful. And strong built.

Very impressed with BuckStop Bumpers. We have had them on two trucks in the family for nearly 20 years now and one truck (2003 sierra 2500hd) is 5 for 5 against mule deer, 5 for 6 against rear end collisions (the last one tore it from the frame at nearly 60 mph impact while at a dead stop) and 1 for 1 against a car turning in front of it and being pitted. The other truck (1999 F-350) is 3 for 3 against mule deer, 1 for 1 against a bear and 2 for 2 against backing into other vehicles. (oops) Both trucks have been abused off-road and working and the bumpers have held up amazingly over nearly two decades. We ordered a second one when the GMC's was wrecked last year without hesitation. I would toss them on anything stout enough to handle the extra weight.

Really good looking truck

A very nice aftermarket truck. Although the light bar on the bumper should be lower. Its blocking the RAM log and could interfere with radiator cooling.

You need access to the winch, might be better to have the lights integrated on the front of the bumper.

way over 100K a stock TRX will set you back over $85,000. No thanks. espcecially since its a dodge/chrysler/plymouth/ram product. They may haul ass but quality is lacking with that automobile manufacturer.

The aftermarket parts and custom fabrication are expensive, plus they have to make money.

Why are you comparing these to a Raptor and TRX? These would get dusted in the dirt by those. Just the same you could load a Raptor in the bed of this 550 with the TRX in tow. And yes, EOG is currently building my 550 and I own a Gen2 Raptor.

The sad part is that anyone who buys these will never take them off road. The wheel base is way too long and they are as wide as a dually in the front and back. I have a regular F 150 which is too big and requires a 10 point turn just to change direction when driving on a logging road.

Andre took the Ford for a run. Front end has broader axel and linkage allowing for far greater than normal turning radius. It also managed trails pretty darned well for any vehicle other than a jeep. Check out Andre's vid.

Idk about the f550 but the f450 will turn impressively sharper than an f150 ive done u-turns on 2 lane black tops pulling 24ft goose neck trailer granted hard on trailer tires but truck made turn with room to spare my f150 wont do it on same highway not pulling trailer
