    Got myself a project car and really makes your life easier when you know what's wrong. With the coupons it came to about 29€, which is nothing compared to a 50-80€ reading at a standard dealer. It also helps to delete old codes, so you know which one is relevant. Love it.

    ! DO NOT BUY CARLY ! First of all, this is NOT a one-time purchase, it is a yearly subscription. Secondly, as soon as you pay them any fees (or you get charged by them) and try to ask for a refund - they will decline and just steal your money. Even if you purchase and file a cancellation request within hours (in my case literally less than 24 hours) after the purchase, they will disregard your request and tell you it's non-refundable. Furthermore, you can find multiple complaints online of people who followed their cancellation process and send the scanners back to them. In return, instead of getting a refund, they got an email from Carly saying "you paid for the digital license, we sent the scanner as a 'gift' to you so it is not refundable", ultimately resulting in them keeping the money and the people being left even without scanners. It is very useful to have a scanner and save yourself money and time but there are far better alternatives to Carly out there. Bottom line - Joel is good lad and this is just sponsorship, I don't believe he has actually had any proper real-world experience with Carly as a business.

    A specific brand and model of tyres also make a huge difference with the same size. Like a cheap tyre vs a Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Awesome handling but also cushioned over bumps. I recommend for people daily drivers. Keeps you on the road + you can trust your car will stop. The people who switched over can't stop talking about the difference. So a good point

    They look familiar 👀 The 18’s are unequivocally the best choice for a cayenne on springs. They look classier and improve the ride quality at the cost of dynamic edge. The gorgeous 20’ Sport Techno’s are the way forward when air suspension is present though!

    It looks ugly tho! 😅 No, not ugly, but, perhaps… older? Plus, less sporty. Despite, agreed! Completely transforms the ride, Jo! But it’s much more about tyres… the sidewall on both are practically identical. I don’t really like gangster wheels, but I do believe that in this generation of Cayenne, those bigger wheels were quite a “match”.

  • @atefelabed8365
    @atefelabed83655 ай бұрын

    I think you'd find that the improvement in ride quality is more thanks to the softer side walls of the 18 inch tyres rather than their smaller size. There actually isn't much difference in the profile height between the 2 because in fact, the 20s are 40% of the width of the tyre i.e. of 275 and the 18s are 55% of 255. The 20s being Michelin Pilot Sport tyres, are much stiffer hence you lost the steering sharpness when you swapped them out.
