In all honesty, you also played the same game. You constantly put your King in a transport ship. What would have happened if your King was in the middle of the water and all your landmarks were destroyed? You would have also denied the King bonus population. The only solution is to ban Kings from entering transports.

The solution is not to allow you to delete transports if your king is in it. And if you sink a transport that has a king for it you get credit for the king. There's nothing wrong with the strategy of putting your king on water, to protect it. That's not the same as deliberately denying others pop abusing a bug.

@psychette8846 the king would be left in the transport ship if all landmarks are destroyed. Non-military boats don't delete after a landmark snipe 🤦‍♂️

@jacobfsu aaaaand how do you kill the king and get the 50 pop space? It is an exploit. Aussie Drongo does it all the time. He even deleted his king once, by accident ,but it does show that you need to ban Kings in transports.

@@psychette8846 No. The transport ship would just be sitting in the water WITH the king in it. The king is still in play and if you destroy the transport, you kill the king and get the bonus pop. So, no, he did not "play the same game." Learn how the game works before commenting ignorance like this.

4/8 kings deleted is such a glaring issue, I hope this gets patched in the next update cos it’s getting wild out here

I'll keep running and deleting my king untill xbox players get king abilities. They wont fix one problem and it's making another.

1. they should disable the delete button on transport ship when king is aboard. 2. give 50 pop cap when you sink a ship along with the king.

I agree, but how can you enforce gifting? People would have to watch replays to prove it happened, and often it would be suspected and not proven. They're not going to hire a bunch of people to watch every FFA game from each player's perspective. It is banned in tournaments, but I think it would be too hard to enforce in normal games. Being able to delete your king though should be able to be fixed in a patch.

nah , it all part of the game.... removing it takes away from the game mode. cause when you predict the gift and still snag it , there is no better feeling. and ultimately you are removing one person from the game either way

Couldn’t they make it where whoever takes out most landmarks or kills the most units of that king last gets credit. I know also fixing that delete will also fix the issue

It's such an easy fix, too. Just disable the kill action when the king is in a transport. I don't know how the engine is built exactly but it has to be an easy fix.

Otherwise you can fix the king delete by poping him automaticly out at the nearest land if a player is deleting his Transport. I think it will work with battering rams too. put the king in it and just delete. if a battering ram is killed all units inside will die with the latest patch.

@@FlockeGaming You could fast travel your king doing that, though. Imagine your king in a transport is about to die to enemy navy, just delete transport and suddenly your king is on the nearest land mass. Not exactly fair. Deleting transports needs to be disabled if the king is on-board.

Devs need to fix this: King need to be thrown on the shore if the transport is deleted by the player; Also, the player considered as surrender in case of deletion of the transport with the king.

Teleporting king with transport ship would unironically become a tactic then. Enemy navy about to destroy your transport? Delete it and now your king is suddenly on shore safe.

Purple was cheating with a map hack. Proof of this was after he used the villager reveal. Once it was finished on cooldown.. He b lined straight to one villager at the top right of the map between the walls he had no vision on that moved there long after he used the ability.

Man, drongo. Imagine this spawn you had with OOTD, the choke point hold, middle of the map for relics. Would have been poggers

No way, I watched this game live when I was bored. I had no idea it was you haha. I didn't even realise it was the same game until purple found your proxy base as i was wetting myself when i watched this again. So frustrating seeing this happen, perhaps Land Mega randoms are the way forward until the devs sort this issue out.

I keep getting wrecked by crazy random mountain paths that just mess with Pathing. My elephants literally couldn't get into the person's base because of the natural walls. He had a wonder and there was nothing I could unless I built in his base or built on the opposite side of the map. Lost my mind. Honestly just a nitpicky thing but still frustrating. 😂

I didn't realise you could delete a king until watching this! I was playing yesterday and I couldn't find the abbassid players king anywhere after he surrendered! I thought it was a bug 💀 that needs to be patched ASAP

I love drongo, I do, but im 19:30 seconds into this match and Drongo has done everything hes talked about over the last year or two about not doing, Always Make a scout, knowing where things are on the map and where people are is critical, what does he do, not make a scout. Gets a gentle pushed by pink and shut out of the gold. He could have seen that coming with a scout. Pushes green and gets denied because he didn't scout out he had Knights, where he could have, then made a dozen spears and took out the king with a snipe. Then he discovered pink is also on water. So not only does he not have any intel on where resources are on the map, he has no situational awareness of what's going on, because he tunnel visioned himself into a boom and going for quick kills which he was successfully shut off from, due to the lack of a scout. and I'm just at 19 min into this game lol.. I love you man, your my favorite AOE4 content creator, but please stop playing like your in Plastic league lol

Aussie some times you are so blind and can’t see anything, blue had dock all along it was within your site or pink had market so you could have made market on blue side and trade from there

this would make delete kings actually worth, since there's no ranking system.. ppl would do that to play with worse players.. in my opinion if smb deletes king the kill goes to the person who destroyed ur last landmark, if all landmarks are alive then to the person who damaged last any of ur landmarks... if nobody attacked any of ur landmarks.. give random the pop. or just make ships with king unable to delete

Xbox players dont have access to king abilities, any idea when that will come to xbox. PC players have a handicap against xbox which seems backwards if anything.

Normally I really love your content Drongo, but the raging during the game is just not enjoyable to watch. It's actually pretty uncomfortable. You might be justified to get angry with people who abuse bugs, I don't want to deny you feeling the way you do, but it's besides the point. Anger - when it comes spilling out like this - leaves its mark in the audience.

Man, why are you mad about people deleting king? My opponents always feed their king to other people when I'm killing them. I'd prefer if they deleted. Instead, I'm not getting the reward of +50, but my next enemy does.

Game looks staged, the enemy horsemen were attacking spearmen instead of attacking cannons.... Pretty much never happens against players in diamond+

Because you take advantage of holes in the game's design, the other players that likely also watch your channel are catching onto to doing the same thing because if "Drongo does it, why shouldn't we?" The other difference too, is you're a proper adult where as some of these guys are just kids.. So expect the 'toxicity'. Lead by example. You're an ambassador for this game.

@@Stryker992 If you've been watching the channel, dark age rushes with Japanese and Abbasid against noob players, dirty politiking, and running his king over to a static player that wasn't even fighting anybody so far as we could tell.. He even calls it meming himself, but isn't realizing that everyone are possibly just doing the kind thing by not attacking who they might think is a super noob because he's still dark age and he's taking advantage of that 'perception'. Technically it is still fair but it takes advantage of certain aspect of humanity for sure. Ofcourse Drongo is no Beasty, but Beasty doesn't bother with any of that and just tries to win legit no bs, no politics. No way not everyone knows who he is by this point in the game but he always gets respect on the battle field except by a cheater. I watch these guys alot. Especially lately..lol Why isn't Drongo playing with his own name? It doesn't hurt Turin or Beasty to.. Drongos easily as good as Turin too. I'm not saying any of it shouldn't be done, but if you play in a sportsmanly manner, it will probably rub off on everybody else at his level and anyone trying to get there. I like to win the hard way. It's funner for me that way. Honestly. The game would be no fun if I won all the time neither which thankfully I hardly ever neither. Drongo is an ambassador whether he likes it or not, but if he's gonna show the 'dark age' of the game that he probably makes a decent coin at, it's just gonna turn people away. For a while, if someone legit cried that were getting 2v1'd the other was going off to pick another target, but now we're all hungry for the king snipe.. So it's practically encouraged the atmosphere of take any advantage you can. I agree the delete king or king in boat hole should be fixed, but they might have their reasons so it stays a fairer game for the competition of the one who beat them and not just spite.

There's nothing unsportsmanlike about a dark age rush. That's a pretty normal strategy since the game came out. That's why you can make military units in the dark age. It's intended to make attacking in dark age possible.

I know he won't read this but it seems to me he got tilted... Which is understandable when people delete their kings and he expected he'd kill one. The format is not set up for balance, it is set up for memes. It's entirely luck of the draw. And when you luck into a good spot and are ahead of your neighbors mid-game you have the expectation you will likely get 1 regent. That is not the case nor should be the expectation. People will be jerks, they'll delete their king to deprive you of fun because they're not having fun so why should you? You can certainly expect that until they patch this. Go into the game with the expectation to have fun, that's the whole point of a game anyway. If you are not having fun then you are playing to much and it is time to take a break.

It's a silly exploit that goes against the intended design. Being aggressive earns you population, if you cant benefit from it, then everyone would be turtling.

In FFA each remaining player should get +50 Population after another Player has been eliminated.

Totally agree with this. You don't get to pick and choose which toxic behaviour is acceptable and which isn't, and then act like you're taking the moral highground. There are so many issues with FFA, I don't think the devs will be able to make it work. For me the novelty has worn off, and I'm back enjoying the other game modes
