What's up guys, this is the final part of the wild and annoying coolant change on my Indian Scout Sixty. This was a learning experience and I know I could've done things better. Either way it was a good way to get to my bike inside and out. If I were to break this down into steps I would Refill as follows:
Remove the fuel tank/ Remove brace/ Open Pressure Cap/ Pinch the Reservoir hose/ Fill coolant and Squeeze Bottom and top Hoses to get as much air bubbles out/ Continue to top off until no more coolant is pourable/ Install pressure cap/ Install Fuel tank/ Run it until operating temp/ and then utilize the bleeder to relief remainder air that's trapped. From there continue to run it and observe the Reservoir.
I am willing to do this again If I have the right tool for it. Other than that, I hope you guys liked this video and learned from my mistakes lol
Thanks for watching!

just for your info and knowledge. when you wash your bike, you need to have two different buckets and mitts. one is for the painted tins only and always start at the top and work your way down, the other bucket is for everything else that does not have a high gloss to it. the reasoning behind this is you are going to pick up course dirt and your don't want to be rubbing that dirt into your painted tins. this might help you in keeping your painted tins looking good for a while longer.

I appreciate the info, I know it wasn’t depicted in the video but I did just that. Wish I knew about that method earlier on when I got the bike though lol would’ve prevented that paint damage like you said. I was rough on her at the beginning lol

That would be the upper radiator hose, on the left the small hose will be the overfill hose. I hope that helps.

They really just built everything around the engine on this bike with no forethought. Virtually nothing on this bike is easy to change compared to others. All this work to change the coolant, seriously wtf. Of all my bikes this one is my least favorite to do anything on.

I could not agree more. I’m literally hours away from a dealer so I had to do this as it was convenient for me. I hope in the future they make it service friendly. Highly doubt it though.
