My wife does similar, she has two working chairs and uses whichever one is not occupied already. The problem is that we have eleven cats so often both chairs are occupied already.

If you need to sit on that chair to do your work, why don't you pick her up and put her on the floor! Unless you're self employed, your boss won't be impressed with the excuse 'I couldn't work because the cat was in my seat '. She may be cute, but you are bigger than she is.

I had to laugh, that’s exactly what happens to me. But… I have two chairs by my desk. One for me and one for him. And he knows which one is his and which one is mine. So occasionally he climbs over on top of me. He’s a wonderful member of the family.

That kitty was on the desk, much like mine gets on the work desk when there’s a call.

I believe Kiki is a boss anyone would loooove to have😊

I have two cats and work from home. Activities included laying on the laptop (connected to monitors by dock), standing directly in front of the monitors, sitting in my lap and wanting to be pet, chewing on mouse and headset wires, drinking from my water cup, and occasional meowing for attention. I love them though and am happy to have them with me.
