    I will tell you what's the mistake of Publicis sapient:- 1) first of all they hire more and more employees even if they don't have projects. 2) The person who is responsible for assigning you to project doesn't reply any of the mail . 3) When asked to manager he says i don't know about projects ask your staffing partner (The same guy who doesn't reply at all) . 4) If it's not there responsibility to assign projects then why in the first place they assure us that they will give projects you just be prepared and up skill yourself. 5) Then without giving any projects they start firing.

    Problem is when a company do not have enough projects for relevant resources they will start firing after limited timespan. Apart from PS, I saw PWC-AC also fired many from Cloud domain and many MNCs are internally reducing resources as there's uncertainty of new incoming projects for which they took loads of people. It's not your package every time, even you are underpaid you can still be asked to put your paper down by Hr. So, during bench period always try to be in contact with HR for new opportunities and also upskill yourself.

    8 months on bench is literally serious problem. Even in IBM if you cross 45 days you will be part of reskilling program where you will have to take the new skill.

    I am telling you our story. Last year in the month of November I joined Cognizant as a PAT after my college. I cracked this job via off campus. And it was my first job so it has another level of importance. In our cohort of 45 members only 20 people got the project and the remaining those who are about to complete one year still they either haven't got the project or still their on boarding processes are going on in their project. Though they are also to complete 1yr. The same thing happened with the other cohort guys also.Yeterday I was talking with one of the guys from our cohort who was still on bench since last one yr, he said bro now I'm worried about my job. Same situations for the others as well.

    These service based mncs they can afford to pay freshers without any billing even as long as 2 to 3 years. I have seen my co trainees who had gone through these long bench periods. But it is better if you utilise the time and don't just spend it in leisure.

    You said that company have not done anything wrong which is not true. 1.Companies are earning 3X profit from each employee from client 2. and if they hired persons based on their pipeline projects then its 110 % their responsibility to map that resource to a project. If at the end moment due to some other issues client is not starting that project that means companies should have some buffer amount to support the employees at that tough time .Bcz for each company their employees are their greatest asset. 3. Now if economics turn around then the same company wont get resource due this negative image at 30 LPA too & eventually they will give 50LPA to a 3 years experienced person which will again create imbalance in the market.

    If it's an ongoing project, I think it's the same rule in every service based organization, that you have to stay in the project for 18 months.

    The staffing partner doesn't listen to you . I have proofs to show you. Sapient doesn't have projects. They hire and fire employees. It is know as hire fire company. The worst part is they force employees to resign with just one month notice over a sudden HR meet . Why does Sapient hire employees if it doesn't have projects? If sapient is so great a company why is it blocking accounts who are posting about Sapient? Because they don't have guts to hear the truth . Sapient have fired more than 500 employees, what bullshit of u to think they someone else have cleared the interview for them .

    I don't think it's employees responsibility to find Project post onboarding. They should hire people only if they have work to do. Otherwise save ur money as well as Job of those people. In pipeline there is no Project this thats y we are terminating bad reason to give.They could have reskill the resources. It shows employer has no ethics. Avoid such companies.

    I am thinking same, how is this employee responsibility to find a project, banda freelancing ya business karne thodi aaya hai, jab job dhundhni thi usne dhundha, company ko jarurat thi, usne apply kiya, usne interview diya, company ne select kiya. Now why its require to give further interviews, and internal application, usne job dhundhne ke liye thodi join kiya hai, wo job dhundh ke hi wahan aayanhai

    what's the mistake of the candidate btw 1) Why did they hire more than the available projects 2) What if the guy is married , has kids, wife not working. How will he manage without any job. Switching job is not easy,same HR round, DSA , coding rejection, It can take months. Also its a negative impact a guy is fired within 8 months and changing jobs frequently. 3) Yes it hurts to a company when you are not in projects and it also hurts when you leave your well-paying job and then you are suddenly fired 4) Even if you call HRs and Managers and ask for projects they won't reply. And most of the time they will give you stupid tasks like making PPTs when you say oh I am on the bench give me project. You won't learn anything and will be fired eventually plus your free work is enjoyed by your managers. It is the corruption and internal politics that no one talks about. 5) Ideally company should pay 3 month salary as notice period is 3 month. When you are in project and another company call they won't negotiate 3 month notice. But when you are not in project the company will make sure the 3 month notice doesn't apply. Hypocrisy.

    Freshers costs nothing, they will give u internal projects,.. It's the guys that are in pay bracket of 10-25 lpa, they suffer the most

    Companies has to maintain the bench strength to get projects. Nowadays they will join the company by mentioning latest tech stack and have knowledge just to clear interviews without working knowledge. And Nowadays they will join the companies with higher salary. Higher the salary more riskier will be in case of slow down.

    Companies ki puri galti hai isme, ki projects nahi hai to hire kyun kar rhe, I have literally seen them firing on one side, hiring simultaneously on other side with same skills. Candidate ka career barbaad kardo. And its not employee ki responsibility ki project dhundho khud se. Wo freelancing ya business karne nahi aaya hai, jab kaam dhundhna tha, tab wo khud job dhundh ke usne apply kiya and interviews diye. Now only responsibility he has is skill improvement, project allocation is totally company's responsibility. Aur recruitment ka lamba process hota hai 20 to 30 days, itne dino me company se decide nahi hua ki projects nahi hai unke paas. Company ka support dena band karo sir, company achi hoti to tumko youtube channel banane ki jarurat nahi hoti.
