When Roger Corman wants to ripoff James Bond, he brings in the rough-looking Steve Railsback. This is one of the dumbest movies ever, with hilarious effects, scenes designed to get the lead actress topless, and Railsback delivering a truly bizarre performance.

From Railsback's IMDB bio: "Noted for his dangerous, chameleon-like portrayals while possessing the scariest-looking pair of eyes in the business, leathery-looking Steve Railsback has mesmerized us over the years with a number of weird, often warped roles both on film and television. While never achieving the degree of stardom deserved, he, like the equally infamous and unpredictable Dennis Hopper, always commands interest whether the material is good or inferior." Held by Bernard Koech of Kenya set in 2022. Of the top 25 world record holders for a ten mile run, 22 WR's were set by Kenyans, 1 from Ethiopia, 1 from the GB and 1 from Uganda. In 1997 when this movie came out the world record was held by Paul Koech of Kenya with a time of 44 minutes and 27 seconds. So yeah, hes basically Captain America lol

Richard Gere was named sexiest man alive in 2000 at age 55. Railsback was also 55 in 2000. I think the producers said 55 is the new sexy but couldn't get Gere so they settled with Railsback. And were like "this can work!"

Steve Railsback's most iconic film after Helter Skelter is The Stunt Man from 1980, where he gives a legitimately awesome performance, in a film that is kinda sorta almost a classic. I mean, I like his work in Lifeforce, too, but The Stunt Man is his best work, so far as I've seen.

Stevie Rails actually had a good resume in the 70s to 80s. He played Charles Manson in the acclaimed TV mini series in the 70's, starred with Peter O'toole in The Stuntman, the cult classic Lifeforce, and also another movie you should watch on your channel, Terminal Island. Added: Ed Gein was cult good as well. Forgot about that one!
