Our vocal chords are muscles which can be stretched to reach higher or lower notes but voices like these are special and should be trained by "coaches" but all they do is aim for the best voices so they dont need to waste time on coaching

For Guy to turn around and risk it all, says a lot, he really looks and care for the performer in everyone, kudos.

This dude is just incredible, it’s a disgrace that the judges didn’t turn to him, I would do that from the first note, I have goosebumps from his voice, absolutely fenomenal. Thanks to one of the judges for seeing the real talent in him. Omg what a load of crap these wanting of pop standard voices! I love that guy! Wolf, you’re the best!!!❤

I don't think it's fair to put Kelly in that position as well. She did mention she wanted a female act but also acknowledged that Wolf's a fantastic talent, just not fantastic enough to sway her in that moment. We all know that he has something special which is why Guy ultimately broke the rules for him. I just think it's unfair to say that Kelly got no idea of what Wolf has to offer.

If this guy was already a celebrity, she would've chosen him as well. The idea of I wanted a female voice or a such and such seems kind of sexist, as she basically acknowledges that he has the merit, but not the gender she is looking for.

Sure, his voice is unique, but there's a reason why men with deep voices aren't solo singers. It's because it's too much. I mean, I can't think of one classic rock group with a deep-voiced lead singer. He would do well in a group but maybe not as a solo singer.

He sent him home not longer after this. Also all the judges turn great singers away all the time for multiple reasons.

She literally turned him down because he wasn't a female talent be damned. If one of the men didn't pick someone because they wasn't a male she'd be all in their face. So the show really isn't about talent for 3 of the judges. Guy has convictions I respect him.

Exactly this show is about talent not gender. Rediculous. I don't know how it turned out in the end but I am glad they gave him the opportunity to continue at least.

A show called "The Voice" is not judged by the quality of it, but the gender. Wonderful.

His voice is absolutely one of a kind! Absolutely phenomenal!

they are coach's, how was a woman going to help him, even his song choice kelly cant help him. its was fair for guy to put that on kelly, I would have been mad making me look like the bad guy. sometimes being unique can work against you not for you. "we live in a right handed world so sadly left handers have had to adapt"

It just amazes me that the judges are so set in the box, and can't think outside of it. To produce for someone like him would be a godsend. Deep voices are so rare.

Awesome voice. Don’t care what anyone says. In professional circles he’s a pure Bass, there aren’t many alive.

Wolf's voice was amazing. I especially admired him for his good nature. He was calm,polite, well mannered & respectful of everyone's opinion with a Smile and a kind word to say. You don't see/hear that now a days. I am a senior citizen & hearing his voice was music to my soul. I don't know the outcome of this contest but I feel doors will be opening for his talent.

This is the show that told me the judges are only out to win for themselves and don't care about the contestant. Thank goodness for one judge to turn whether his team was full or not he saw Talent. This was disgraceful by the judges.

He has an amazing voice! WOW! And he should definitely be a singer AND a voice actor! It must be difficult for people who go through the audition by the end, when the teams are full/almost full. It's a bit "unfair" in a sense as they don't have an equal change to get picked as if they were auditioning at the beginning/middle of it.

They actually made a place for him in Guys team that was already full. The Excecutive Producer had to step in , and we are all privy to their challenge at making this happen for Wolfe. Or are U suggesting they should have just dropped someone that was already selected to make room for him? I am sure U wouldn't like to be that one.

That guy did have an amazing voice. Ha sang that song very well and clearly the audience loved him. And I was very happy he was able to make it to the next round. What I was not impressed was that all the judges had full teams except one. And from the looks of it, regardless of how wonderful that man sang, he was not going to be picked because a judge had a different idea of what her team would be. They should not have allowed him up on the stage if that was case. I can’t imagine how awkward if felt while the producer was up on the stage talking to the three judges. I felt bad for him. However, I am happy he has chance to continue on.

No, they should have allowed everyone to audition like normal. It’s only fair. If Kelly heard one of their voices and liked it enough, there’s a chance she would’ve gone against her wish for another female artist, and chosen them. What they should have done, however, was disable the ability for the other judges to even choose. Why that wasn’t already implemented, I haven’t a clue, but I guess they never anticipated one of them to be so disrespectful to pull something like this. What Guy did was manipulative and stupid.

Many also voice their refusal to choose being based on the fact it doesn’t match the genre they’re most knowledgeable about.Tip: before spreading baseless claims, actually WATCH the show. As soon as he started speaking, I wanted to listen to him speak all the time! I’ve always loved a deep voice and couldn’t wait to hear him sing. Then he wowed me by sounding like the version Disturbed did of that song. Just incredible! And only one judge had the foresight to see this?! Yeah he needs a bit of polishing, but that’s the point of this show, right? Wolf is going to be something amazing with that voice! And the name suits the voice, too! He’s absolutely perfect! Guy backed a winner! The others were too blind to see it.

Hey, I also found it very much alike the version of Disturbed, as a matter of fact, this deep and roughly voice, suites better to this song than the Simon & Garfunkel voices.

This gave me goosebumps. His voice is amazing whether he can sing or not but he can sing. Not bad on the eyes either. This man has something special. Wow.

From South Africa I've lived for 55 years believing that Paul and simon's version of this was the epitome of S of S..... Then I heard Disturbed's cut.. which topped that. THIS, THIS has toppled both... I hope like hell I'm going to hear this man's stunning cover... fucking brilliant

Hi Im also from South Africa & I couldn't agree more. Brilliant voice .. new sound for the new era we',re entering into. Judges sadly did not show good character or ethics !

I'm a tenor, but I'm done with high voices! The high notes always take all and this is ridiculous. This guy has a INCREDIBLE and VERY RARE voice. You can't find a bass like that in everywhere. Otherwise... you have 10 thousand tenors in every corner. Amazes me how ignorant those famous artists can be. Kelly's argument is pathetic. She is filling her team not based on talent and unique voices.

His voice is astounding

I love how he didn't show off the depth but just let his performance be natural. Low, but natural and authentic. He didn't unnecessarily try to sing the lowest key on the scale.

The program is called "The Voice"..... How could the other judges not hear that unique voice!!!

I get that he wouldn't go far with a normal audiance because many people prefer higher vocal ranges, compared to lower ones. It is so sad. His voice is so pretty 😍😍😍
