Yeah like attached a silencer to a gun but make sense analogically.

I have two of these silent guitars (one nylon, one steel), and I never even thought of trying to record it into a handheld recorder like that. This is why i subscribe to your channel--for the endless creative ideas.

@@ubermenschstream6765 It depends on what kind of music I'm composing/recording at the moment, or what songs I'm trying to learn. They're equally good and the only difference is one is nylon strings and the neck a bit wider like a classical, and one is steel strings and the neck is like normal acoustic guitar width. Neither can replace the other--it's all about what tones you need.

@@BacatauMania You can practice without annoying people around you because it's much quieter. And it also solves the problem of feedback during miked/amped live performances.

I'm thinking in buying one of these silent guitars because I like practicing with very low volume, actually I only play unplugged solid body electric guitars and they still sound a little too much for me when using a pick. Do you know if these silent guitars would sound with even less volume than an electric guitar when unplugged?

I’ve never understood why Yamaha don’t add an SD card port for outputting recording .. it’s as much a practice guitar as a performance .. I’ve done this as well , though it’s plugged into the line out . The design is 20 years old .. still no wifi / Bluetooth / SD card ..

he unplugged the amp/computer and recorded into a pocket recorder instead so he can play tether free. without the hassle of wireless

Yamaha SLG200NW далеко не самая бесшумная. Она вполне себе звучащая, не первый год пользуюсь, как правило, без подключения - отлично слышно. А вот Traveler guitar ultra-light значительно тише, только нифига не удобная

伊草さん結構シールド投げ捨ててますよね笑

Funny story, you don't even need to plug it in. You just need the neck to touch the recording device directly. I just place my phone against the body of my guitar.

Interesting idea, but I find it much simpler to just use some kind of wireless guitar system. Even cheap ones are nowadays very good.

It doesn't have a sound chamber so is quite literally like 8 times quieter than the more traditional classical guitar when just playing in a room without recording

the headphone amp inside the yamaha silent guitar can't be good. This isn't the way to go if you're aiming for the best sound quality
