@@thatdudecancook The 2nd pronunciation (mun-ster) you used is typically considered correct in English, but the 1st (moon-ster) is closer to how they pronounce it in Germany where it originates 😁

A little wood glue, a couple of brass pins and a fine hand with a dremel tool and hes good as new.

LOVE your vids and recipes - just wanted to drop a quick comment on (what i believe) the difference is between parmigiano reggiano and Parmesan .... its not "an american knock off". but parmigiano reggiano uses rennet where parmesan uses a microbrial culture to age the cheese. Rennet is a complex set of enzymes produced in the stomachs of cows stomachs (typically the fourth stomach). Thats why traditional Parmigiano is not Vegetarian... just thought you should know since you are such an aspiring chef!

I made this recipe tonight and everybody loved it. Definitely a recipe I’m going to pass along to family and friends. The parmigiano Reggiano and Gruyère crust on the outside was a great idea. I love the cheese pull. Also, remember to use unsalted butter. Thank you Sonny for another great and yummy recipe!

I love this guy and all of his recipes he is absolutely fantastic when he talks about cheese and all this other stuff he uses high-end stuff. I'd love to see him make it with stuff that I can afford

I just started experimenting with cast iron pan and I LOVE IT

The ending was the most emotional thing I've seen in years.

I have been cooking the Parm/reg on the outside of my grilled cheese sandwiches for over 30 years. Of course when I started and was poorer it was the stuff in the green cardboard container.

R.I.P. Sgt. Gilbert Thing about Havarti, which I noticed is on your list, is that it melts fine but it's very stringy in that state, so if you don't swallow the whole mouthful at once part of it goes down and part is still in your mouth, connected by a stretchy stringy bit through your throat that makes you wonder if you're gonna inhale it. I don't recommend it for grilled cheese sandwiches.

The fridge schtick has got to be one of my favorite things on KZread
