there are no teammates, there are red enemies and there are blue enemies.

Legitimately nothing feels better than reversing a teammate who tries to kill you. You just know they feel like shit after fumbling the jump on you.

"Finally props", I cannot agree more. For the past few weeks I've been struggling in top tier both in ground and air battles... So I decided to drop top tier and focus on spading low and mid tier vehicles and actually have some fun.

I haven't flown any of the Corsairs in their current state, but one thing I always did was use the landing gear as an airbrake, it doesn't rip until around 700km/h, so it might help with increased compression.

it helps braking but you need to use engine and slow speed maneuverability, it's like a shittier I225 now

Just wanted to try out the "new" F4U-7... started WT went with it in the first match of the day, got distracted by a teammate stopped looking infront of me and cut the tail of another F4U-7 with my prop, I slid to the ground in awkward silence and closed WT again.

F4U-4B got a similar treatment recently. Power at the deck went down a bit, but in exchange you get way more power all the way up to 6.7km. It completely dusts the D-13 up there now. The guns are also workable, finally (20mm buff).

i love the instant cutaway at the end. i've been putting in a lot of work in the f4u-1c and boy do i enjoy seeing the corsair airframe. but sad to hear they poo-poo'd over the poor f4u-7's airframe

F4U-7 stays at 6.0 while the F4U-4B of all things goes down to 5.7 lmao

Yep getting a ridiculous number of heat rockets is what keeps this plane at 6.0 it is basically the Au-1 which is at 5.7

i think it's the matra rockets. My guess is to un nerf anm3s (mines still usable for some god damned reason) and move both to 6.0.

@@Feradose it's not recommendable to go down anymore with the corsair, you have to use it now like a 109 and boy I can tell you it toys with 109s at slow speed now.

Why does the 20mm HEI on the ANs have 0 damage? I went into damage viewer and it's like the vulcan 20 mils where it acts as if it has 0 filler. wtf?

lvls dont mean anything anymore, buying premium etc boosts your lvl significantly.

Levels never meant anything beyond you unlocked a certain number of vehicles in the game.

While I don’t have this plane, I just sacrificed the marineflieger tornado to buy the F2G, and since I heard that they fly very similarly, imma use the tips here to fly it. I was gonna be the only Filipino vehicle (P-26A-34) in the game, but I’ll save that for later, since it’s a rank 1.

Too bad the Corsair's aren't what they used to be in War Thunder. They're my favorite aircraft of all-time but in War Thunder they just keep getting worse and worse. I remember when the 12.7mm was actually pretty effective. Judging from your video, the AN/M3 is a worse gun as the AN/M2? In which case I can expect to be slight disappointed with the F4U-4B I will soon unlock.

I got the f4u-4b a few days ago and the guns are fine imo. No real difference from the 1C. Any hit is either a crit or a kill, and head ons are pretty easy

What exactly did they change about the m3,s?

They do a LOT less damage now, I just started watching but for example the 109 at the start might've been at least crit from the very first hit, and the crit that happened after probably would've killed him instantly.

the new f4u 4b flight model is amazing. I had once a bad time and decided to stop going for reversals as before. The thing can literally dogfight 109s and out rate them under certain situations, the flaps are amazing as well. Another slow speed monster, just as I like them.

4B is the same as 7 but 10 minutes of fuel lighter. F4U-4 is the same but lighter and worse engine setting. Yes 4B elevator compression was also nerfed at high speeds. F4U-4B and F4U-7 share engine performance now. The F4U-4B engine was better than the F4U-7 before the fix, so the buff is smaller to the F4U-4B. Basically bit less of power below 1km at low speeds and more power at high alt.

I love how these dudes sit on your 6 but dont really hit you... whenever anyone ever has a shot on me, even if it doesnt look like it, they just de-sync the shot into me and instantly blow me up. That's why i absolutely hate prop planes. i usually have around 20-30ms ping but enemies just shoot off at absurd angles due to de-sync...

You can feel ho Defyn is tired in his voice.

Is it the same corsair as american 4b? Cuz i started to play both it and f2g and i think its nice anyway. And still these guns can manage some pillboxes in late game

You need to use the ground targets belts with the anm3 for them to do any damage

It also fucking overheats now. While the other planes with the SAME ENGINE have a 10° higher overheat threshold

That 109 flipping around is that in part due to sim control manipulation? It looks like they were getting full deflection to full deflection, and it also looked a bit too mechanical. Maybe is a macro? Is there also a way to lag the system like that? That again seems like a manipulation that could be done by introducing a connection issue, I would guess. I just see that a lot more time and time again. Don't want to say hacking, when you can probably abuse the system which WT players are so used to doing. Awesome tips, you always inspire me to want to play and play well. I uninstalled though a good while ago. I just tilt like crazy at so many things.

@@takyon10 Not really new per se, snap rolling has always been in game, what I am referring to is the full tilt version, that consistently. But that is why I asked numbskull, if there is something online showing how it works, show me. It looks arcadee. I also just seen a video about how it is manditory for people to use sim controls, and that is often how the same plane at same altitude same energy state can out turn the other. That is not a mechanic per se, that is more like an exploit. At least until it becomes common knowledge, but there is a lot of shit like this in war thunder, if it wasn't for the community it is hard to tell if anyone would know anything. That is why I come to these channels, to try to get better, and at least understand what players are doing so it can be counterable.

This is best ending i have seen in all war thunder. :D

I personally much prefer the jet gameplay for myself, though I appreciate your videos even if I personally dislike playing props.

Sustained turn and turn at high speeds K4 is better. 4B sustained is better with combat flaps tho. Low speed dogfight 4B wins.

funny enough i actually haven't seen as much TK recently, maybe Gayjoob finally got sick of all the reports and decided to just ban em.

Early U.S jets that don't use .50 cal suck balls now that the m3 20mm do nothing in short precise bursts, which is bad because jets arent slow or stall easy so you can only do short precise bursts while they pass your guns.

Does anyone know if the guns have been fixed, since a new update has fixed fragmentation damage or something (idk how this works 💀)?

So ground belts for the ANM3s is the go now or🤔

You shouldn't take the belts with the most bugged rounds... I always run Universal belts for the M3s or AN/M2s and even with the bugged HEI shells they are still decent because of the AP rounds.

The compression is especially annoying while doing CAS. Also I’ve been having better luck with ground targets belts than air targets belts against planes

@@2552legoboy so by your logic the F4U-4B 's strength is also going to lead for punishing? I don't think it's going to be enjoyable to put two corsairs to duel and enter a flat spin. Flat spinning on air RB is a good punishment, but for symmetric dueling it's straight up unfair... unless you really want to get stuck into an endless rate fight.

@@kingghidorah8106 i only mean if you watch your flight you can see what put you in the flat spin in the first place. in this case you can learn from your mistake and avoid repeating it, its what makes this game great . some planes flat spin easie than others such as the p39 and 63 as im sure u know

@@2552legoboy The instructor can force you into flat spins. You, the player, cannot fully override the instructor unless you fly with a joystick where it is completely off the entire time. Thus it is entirely possible for your aircraft to do something you didn't want it to and it enters a flat spin with you the player not only doing nothing wrong but you doing everything in your power to try to prevent it from happening.

This and the F4u-4 have the same engine, but the F4u-4 has a better fm. The f4u-4 is 4.7 whilst this thing is 6.0, and with m3 canons being nerfed, the guns are worse than 50 cals.

F4U-7 has the same engine as F4U-4B, not F4U-4. F4U-4 has a different engine setting. It got fixed in the last update.
