This Golf Lesson FIXED My SLICE FOREVER… (Full Video)

Спорт

A few of you had commented that I was starting to come way over the top again in my golf swing, so I decided to have a lesson with a great coach called Chris Forsyth.
You can find him on Instagram @forsythgolfperformance and I would 100% recommend him, he changed my swing so much in an hour and everything was simple and made sense.
I started out with a slice with my long irons and finished hitting amazing high draws! Let’s hope I can take this on to the golf course on Wednesday when I play in the BMW PGA Pro-Am with Chris Hughes and James Nesbitt!!
Hope you enjoy this lesson and you learn as much from it as I did!
Cheers, Gaz!

I've been struggling with golf so much that I've taken 1 month off. Played today and a lot came back but still have to work on certain things. This video is brilliant Gaz as it shows we all love this game but we have to overrule our egos enough to get help which you've done. Loving this channel 👍

Very well explained - the right or left hand roll is the killer move - Milo Lines is also good on this method. Being a pedant, sorry, but the club's edge matches the spine angle or is parallel with the spine, and is not perpendicular to it. Cheers for the video. Very helpful. Being a 'shoulder swinger' for ages when I do this method I really focus on turning my shoulders very slowly as I transfer pressure to the front foot. Stops me focussing on hitting instead of turning. What I really fight is the shoulders going at it hell for leather from the start without a smooth build up to the turn. The shoulder turn and the pressure transfer are simultaneous when it all goes tits for me, whereas they should be in sequence. All the best!

Dudeeeee. This works so well. Never thought I'll comment but here I go. First shot at the range. Bam, a fucking draw. And I almost never on demand draw a ball on demand. 95% of the time it's always fade. Now all I do is draw, the only time the ball goes right is when I left the club face open. The takeaway/backswing part that's where I find it works best. I didn't worry about the grip that much. Perfect video.

WOW. I went to the range today after watching this last night. Things that helped me: -Keeping right hand neutral -Keeping club face square with spine in the beginning -Seam on the left side of my t-shirt towards the ball It's crazy because I thought my problem was my downswing, but my backswing was screwing up my set-up for the downswing. Now I actually feel like I'm rotating all the way through the ball.

i tried that swing yesterday evening...crushed every iron + wood. Some points i noticed j...ust what worked for me 1. Ball needs to be well ahead in the stance 2. bump hip left to start down which opens them but dont spin out ..ie hips quiet thru impact allow club release...was able to keep club shaft lean ...then hips finish turn after ball is gone, thinkof rorys hips...2 phases in down swing.

Gaz, I cringed watching this lesson. I went down a similar path with lessons similar to this. Although you will get the best strikes and compression, it will cause you nothing but hooks, and eventually back pain longer term. 2 years of battling to get the game back on track, followed by £1500 in chiropractors. I’d defo stick to more traditional golf swing thoughts. Look at Faldo on KZread. Just my opinion of coarse, and I will watch your progress (and maybe see where I went wrong ha)

For myself, if I didn’t rotate through enough, the club face is left very closed. This then caused me to get the club caught behind, then an exaggerated dip to the right, to try and save the shot. I think the technique is great, but required a lot of adjusting for me, and eventual failure of the technique caused the injuries.
