I’m a trucker. I own a miniature Goldendoodle and everything you explained is literally him. He will follow me anywhere I go. If I leave for work and come back a week later he will get so happy he starts peeing he’s jumping and running around like crazy and follows me like glue and he only does it with me everyone else he just plays with and then after he comes and follows me. I take him on the road with me and he’s so smart he jumps off the rig by himself he knows when I’m done driving and gets so happy I think it’s because he hears the air brakes on my truck and knows usually that means I’m done drivin. He loves to cuddle. he’s my best friend love my Ted. I didn’t even want this kind of dog at first it was my Girls idea. I wanted a pit or something more protective and badass and now I’m over here in love with my dog. Lol I totally get you

@@janebenson8719 HAHAHA!!! I know, right? We have four poodles, and the price to get them groomed ... but they're such pretty, fluffy, sweet babies! My silver girl in particular even when shaggy is like a 40 pound stuffed animal, so soft and fluffy, not to mention her puppies all have super-soft baby coats!

I too have a Velcro pup - she's a toy size Mini. She turned one last month, and in 3 days it will be one year since I brought her home. I cannot even imagine not having her in my life, I can't bear not having her with me, so she comes with me basically everywhere! She's my little bestie - love her so much❤

We got one too, after losing our beloved beagle Oscar. Marley, 4 months old, already 36 lbs is pure sweetness, total opposite of beagle that we adore for 8.5 years. Some days I believe Oscar chose this puppy for us, as he is amazing!!!

My poodle ruined my life, too. He’s a good traveling companion, because, if he is with me, he’s home. But when I have to leave him home, he carries all my dirty clothes to the sofa near the front door, makes a bed of it, and lays on my dirty clothes until I get home. I adopted mine out of a hoarding situation. He’s full-bred, but I got him for free. He’s so grateful to be fed regularly, taken outside, to be clean and free of fleas, etc., that I think that, if possible, he loves me even more. I am his captive.

My neighbor just lost her poodle who had been rescued from living off the streets. The city has been trying to catch him for forever. Joy, just was patient and over time, was able to get him to trust her. He would sit outside for HOURS waiting for her to come home (which, to be fair, he would sit and wait outside my door just knowing I would know he was waiting for a treat)…. He was glued to her side. Sadly, he passed away a month or so, and after being with him for years it was so hard o. joy. Today, her daughter called me asking me to come over and when I walked on the porch, my mouth dropped open. There sitting in Joy’s lap was a dog that looked JUST like her dog that passed away. Her husband purchased a Labradoodle 3 weeks ago and didn’t tell her! I’m so happy for her because, while u can’t ever replace a baby, it does aid in healing your broken heart during the grieving process! ❤️ it’s how I found this video. Lol. Looking up about labradoodle and golden doodles!

your dog lays on your dirty laundry not because he came from a hoarding home, but because your dirty laundry has your scent on it. It comforts a dog who loves his/her owner. I had a longhair chihuahua who did that. So before i left the house, I would get a tshirt from the laundry basket and put it on the area where he laid and waited for me (which was always in the entry way to our home lol)

If you possibly can, get a puppy in the same breed as the one you lost. Life is too short to leave that hole in your heart aching. Your new dog will make you whole again. Best wishes from another dog lover who is getting a puppy in two days for the same reason. I'm already so happy!

Sorry for your losses, both of you. My yellow lab died 13 years ago, I still miss him. (My situation has changed in the meantime, so logistics would make caring for a new dog much more difficult) Best of luck!

That's why Goldies make fantastic psychiatric service animals.

I was a professional dog trainer for 30+ years; never have I been so impressed with the intellence, willingness, loyalty of a dog. German shepherd's used to be THE TOP for trainability and all things important in a dog.... Goldendoodle all the way now.

We have a black goldendoodle and everything you said was spot on. Ours lays at the front door until someone comes back home. The guilt trips are so real, that I plan my day so I can take him with me in the car whenever I can.

My daughter has a mini golden doodle. She is very sweet , calm and no issues with her at all.

Just got our golden doodle pup, 1300 bucks from a breeder. Makes us laugh every day with his antics. Today, he turned 6 months old and the joy this dog has brought me is unreal. He won’t be doing anything, just laying on the floor, but when you make one movement, he shoots up and follows you. And the eyes, good lord the eyes. He learned VERY quickly that when he sits upright (it looks so adorable, like he sits so straight and prim and proper) he can get basically anything. And he usually does. But I would rather die than not have him in my life. He’s made me gain the desire to live and brought me so much joy! They are such funny and intelligent dogs. But can be very stubborn and with t.hose eyes, he’s dangerously cute!

Have you turned to nutrition to feel better? It's the food! It's always been teh food. Trust me on this. Everyone has issues- nothing new there. Biochemistry is off from the food- mostly sugar and processed and lack of exercise. You don't feel like exercising...because of the food.

I just watched this for the second time. We have a golden doodle and his name is Cooper! You are spot on describing this dog. We have 4 adults in our house and our worlds revolve around Cooper. Such a life changer.

We have had goldendoodles for 16 years. They are absolutely the most amazing breads. Looks like the two dogs get along, very well too.

Mine leans on me if I'm standing, sitting or asleep. It doesn't matter, he has to be touching me. He's the sweetest baby ever!!

I also am a HD rider and have had 5 boxers over the years since 1996. I also got a Goldendoodle when my female boxer passed leaving my male alone. I can’t believe how fabulous they are! Smartest dog I’ve ever had and they’re exactly like you show. Velcro dogs!

I loved hearing your story. We have a one year old female golden doodle. She is our everything. She loves us unconditionally! She is highly intelligent and so loving towards anyone. She was expensive to buy, but is so worth every penny. She brings so much happiness into our lives. Your precious Cooper is so handsome.

He is completely devoted to you. It's a wonderful thing to have a dog, companion and friend that looks, acts and loves you like that. Sometimes, bacon can help nurture and flourish that kind of relationship. You're hilarious. You stereotype yourself. "I'm a Oilfield, Harley riding, BMW guy..." and then self critique yourself for this wonderful dog not allowing you to live up to the slot you put yourself into. Don't ever change Sir. You and Senor Doodle of Fluffidness enrich each other's lives beyond measure. Good stuff. Thanks for sharing.

My brother has a dog that behaves the same way. Elvis was abandoned in the desert, found and taken to a rescue shelter. I think my brother paid no more than two hundred. A big plus is... Elvis a wonderful, loyal, obedient friend.

Ha! My wife wanted a Goldendoodle too and I just smiled. We’ve had other dogs but this animal is unbelievable! I can relate to your story because our lives now revolve around our Doodle. We take him almost everywhere. I can’t say this enough, he’s just a great dog! Travels well and is gentle with and loves children and people in general! His favorite pastime is looking out the patio door window. Our Doodle looks just like yours:) Ride safe! Ride Free!

@@KendallAdventureandTravel I have a cocker doodle (aka cockapoo). I love big dogs, but at 75 , did not have the strength or energy to deal with a 40+ pound puppy. You are right that all doodles seem to share these characteristics. Charley sits on a small table to look out the window. She is smart as a whip, follows me everywhere and does not shed. Doodles are great dogs, no matter the size.

I needed this in my life today! Cooper is precious!!

My dogs are rescues they found us everywhere. We never leave them they are our life. One of my dogs was born with deformed feet and had lots of surgeries. I laid with him for 12 weeks recovering. Then l had a massive heart attack he laid with me for a whole year. I am totally blessed to have my dogs.

I have two Golden Doodles, both eleven and girls. One is chocolate and the other white. They've changed my life forever. I'm now the Velcro dad as I can't stand being apart from them for any length of time.

We have our 2nd Goldendoodle. Our 1st crossed Rainbow Bridge 16 months ago and I am still so heart broken! Our puppy just turned 5 months and you are right, Goldendoodles are right next to you, every single second. I am so happy your wife wanted a fluffy puppy! It's true love when you have a doodle!

I had a boxer and after he passed away we got a doodle. I didn’t want the damn doodle!! Fell in love instantly! Smartest dog ever! We got another boxer when the doodle was about 2. They passed away a year apart during this pandemic. I miss them terribly! Your video made me smile. Thank you ❤️

This cracked Me up! I can really relate because I’m in the same boat. I lost my husband if 46 years when my friend that owns a kennel shows up with the Goldendoodle. Her client decided she didn’t like big dogs and needed to find her a home, free! Well she caught me at a vulnerable time and I said yes. My pit and her bonded instantly and I honestly would be lost without my dogs. These doodles just steal your heart. She and her Pittie sister are little love bugs.

I’m not a dog owner, but I enjoy watching other people who own dogs. I love the doodles. They are so loving!

Your video made my day. We lost our little girl Feb 22nd and I’ve been heartbroken and honestly afraid I’ll never feel that love again but listening to you describe the love you have for your boxer who crossed rainbow bridge and seeing the love you have for not only your younger boxer but also for your new fluffy puppy gives me hope. 🐾

I’ve never had a doodle but I worked on a horse farm where the lady had two standard poodles. Those were two of the best dogs I’ve ever worked around. They followed me around all day and tried to help anyway they could. They were intelligent quick learners, athletic, and willing like the herding breeds but a lot more chill. They did not chase livestock which was a big plus because we had a lot high dollar mares and foals on the place. In fact, those poodles would get my attention if they perceived any horse was in distress. They got my attention and led me to a pregnant mare that was cast against a fence once. They were easy to groom too. I just trimmed them with horse clippers every couple months. Poodles are a seriously underrated breed of dog IMHO. I don’t have anything against doodles but why not just get a standard poodle?

I’ve had 3 and now am a guardian for a breeder friend awaiting my second breeder baby girl. They have saved my life! I have lupus and had to quit teaching a few years ago. Depression engulfed me. Then my husband brought home a sweet doodle. My children were in college and we were empty nesters. I don’t know where I’d be without them!

I have done so many rescues and adoptions and all dogs have their own personalities to love. I know someone that has two of them and they are so cute. She likes them because they don't shed. Good luck with your fur baby. A real cutie !

I agree but they’re a lot of work. I house sat for a family that had two once...I was there a week and it about killed me. I love them but man...they’re the kind of dog I just love for other people to have lol. Sweet as pie but unless you’re willing to devote your entire existence to them, they’re not happy 😂

This is great! We have a 6 month old labradoodle and I can’t believe how much I love that dog! My husband is not even a pet person and he has fallen in love with this dog! We lost our shitzu mix 2yrs ago, he’d lived a great life of over 16yrs. My husband tolerated him with some affection because Jake put up with our 6 boys growing up. But this labradoodle has changed his life! 😂🤣

Best dog! I had a goldendoodle named Cooper too! Smart, kind, loving and so easy to train. He got cancer at 7 years old and I was heartbroken. I have a golden retriever now who has the same great qualities as Cooper but very hairy. My vacuum is definitely getting a work out but I wouldn't trade him for the world.

I know the feeling! Our baby boy has the happiest smile every time he walks near his people that we can't not say "HELLO!!!!" and fluff him up and giggle. So awesome.

I have 6 cats … (don’t tell them!). when I come home 5 are at the door waiting for me to say, ‘yay! Mommy’s home! She still loves us!’ And then they expect me to top off the kibble. Love ‘em…

He loves you and is so attached. My mom had a great dane when I was younger and she wanted to be with my mom all the time. She settled down more as she got older. He's a loyal dog who loves his master. It is so cute.

Doodles are AMAZING dogs! I have 3 Australian Labradoodles and they truly members of our family. They adore us and we adore them right back! We even take them on vacation with us!!! Great people dogs… not so crazy about the “ I wanna get that squirrel out in our yard” moments but heck… they are just trying to keep the rodent population down! Enjoy Cooper… glad you adore him as much as we adore Logan,Rudy and Hobbs! ❤️❤️❤️

Dave you are so right! My GD boy is attached to me 24/7. We do pretty much everything together but when the time comes for me to leave him home, the guilt trip is real! We have a black goldendoodle and he has high emotional needs for sure lol. He’s 70 lbs of pure sweetness.

My life is ruined to. My girl is a Rottweiler who I rescued 9 yrs ago. Captured my heart & such a good girl. She's getting up.there in years now. Lots of love. Pawprints on the heart.

Omg what a great video!!!! I have a Goldendoodle and everything is SPOT ON?!!!!! Hannah is 106 lbs and is always where I am. Just the look on her face when she looks at me makes me smile ear to ear and warms my heart. I also have a Jack Russell/hound Ruby. They get along like sisters. My life wouldn't be the same without them. Love them to pieces.

What a big ol' butter ball. My goldendoodle is exactly the same. I had to get a bigger chair so she can sit with me. She HAS to be touching me or as close as possible at all times. We live in a townhome with narrow walkways, and she ALWAYS walks in front of us, stopping at least a few times to look back, smile and wag, before moving forward a few more feet to do it again. Poodle mixes certainly have the emotional complexity of a poodle. They adore their people, and their loyalty knows no bounds.

I can relate....we've had a golden doodle for the last 3 years....needs constant attention, greets you excitedly every time we come home...loves affection......this dog has got me whipped....

We are both Harley riding, veterans with 2 poodles and a golden doodle. They are absolutely WONDERFUL friends.

Gotta appreciate the Velcro factor with these dogs. We have two fluffy puppy golden-poopers and the personalities they have are unique and fostered in so many ways. If you've never owned a Goldendoodle your in for a treat. Their professional counter surfers, goofy and spirited, attention seekers and full of life.

I also have a Goldendoodle, now 10 years old. He trained me early! When I (try ) to call him in, he cocks his head and stares ( and I swear, smiles). “What do I get for it? How good is the bribe?” And we go through the menu of bribes. But if he starts getting roudy with a visitor, a command “crate” and he goes right in, often picking up a toy on his way! (If only my kids had done that!). He makes me laugh EVERY day. Love this guy.

Two of the smartest, most loving breeds rolled into one. I had a lab. All retrievers are great- read about their history. They were originally bred to be (&still are)the best hunting companions. Loyalty is in their blood. Maybe you can train Cooper to be a service dog so he can visit children in the hospital or old folks homes. BTW, I love boxers too- they are sweethearts.

He’d have to be trained to be a therapy animal, but then he could visit hospitals! I got my doodle puppy with the plan to train her to be a therapy animal

My daughter got a goldendoodle and my wife got a bernedoodle. Both have to be touching you at all times. Pet either of them and when I stop they take their paw and drag my hand back to their bodies because they weren't finished being petted🤣

Be careful with the Bernadoodle. The Bernese Mountain dogs have a lot of health problems.

What an absolutely precious way for your life to be ruined! You're all very blessed!

I’m sitting a chihuahua who doesn’t bark a lot and attaches to you like wearing a shirt. He always wants to be around my face, my upper chest. He’s cute and charming. We brought food home and he delayed his greeting of excitement until we’d eaten and then it’s prancing around telling me how much he loves me. I have to give him back in a week. I’m anticipating relief and loneliness on my part.

Same story my husband. Our flat coated retriever had cancer. Several months after he passed, our vet asked that we go and check out this dog. It was a standard black poodle. He immediately jumped on the sofa and “adopted” my husband ❤️

I rescued one, and I have to say he is the most beautiful, lovely, loyal dog ever!

I relate totally, my husband and I puppy sit my daughters golden doodle on weekends. It is impossible to get mad at him and he follows us everywhere 24/7. They are the most lovable dogs ever.

My step-daughter now has a second one….Gus who is Winston’s nephew. Like his uncle, he’s bonded with me. I love these dogs more than life itself and I would also venture to say these dogs have probably saved my life in numerous ways. So much better than people!

I have 2 golden doodles and they have brought so much joys for me and my husband since our kids left for college.

Very relatable, my girlfriend & I adopted a golden doodle puppy in august of last year. This guy is the most loving, caring dog I have ever seen. He constantly seeks our love & is always active in our house like he is our son. Regardless how could you not love them!!

I have a 15 month old Goldendoodle. I almost re-homed her until she lost her baby teeth. Now I cannot imagine my life without her! 💕 Velcro dog describes them perfectly.

@@mediahobbyist734 it does stop but you have to hang in there. We have one that is 19 months and we just picked up another last week at 10 weeks old. I would have never done it except we have had our older one through all the training that Pet Smart offers and we have been able to repeat the classes as needed. The training actually has trained us. We can take our older one to pet friendly businesses and to restaurants that have outdoor dining if they allow dogs, which you can google pet friendly restaurants.

We just lost both our Cavaliers 2 months apart , I met a guy a couple years ago walking one of these furry guys and asked what kind of breed was he ( Goldiedoodle) The dog was so intuitive to his owner and behaved like I’ve never seen . Told my wife about the Goldiedoodle and she immediately started to research them . Still in mourning of the loss of our 2 babies we both know when the time is right we want to bring a Goldiedoodle into our family 👍. Thank you so much for this video on your experience with your family of pups 👍❤️

Thank you for your video. I recently lost my cat that I had for 10 years. She was already a senior when I first got her. I miss her so much! I was thinking about getting a new pet and was thinking about a golden doodle. That is one thing my baby girl did was wait at the window for me when I left. and now I do not have that anymore. I am going to do a little more research but I am leaning more and more on this breed! They seem sweet like my baby girl!

This is refreshing! I’m used to hearing about what a bad breed these are. With health issues, life span and expense , etc. so, it is nice to hear about this amazing dog’s attributes. And they are so cute!
