The funny thing is when I was playing version 1.1 with my friend, my Wii remote died when I was pitching and it started to automatically pitch and throw fastballs at my friend. He got 4 home runs from that.

It's not a bug, it's a feature. Perpetually hydroplaning golf ball!

This is the sickest glitch I've ever seen. Wii Golf double and water shots are a game changer

i remember this glitch happened to me and my friends when he were playing awhile back, didnt know it was that easy

The thought of speedrunning golf frightens me and I don't know why

This game has been out for a long time and there is STILL new things being discovered

Would a disconnect affect the Wii fit plus cycling game? Maybe strange jumps? How about a power interrupt to the balance board?

Can’t be the only person who’s controller doesn’t reconnect fast enough for this to work

we push the positive side of the battery so it loses connection long enough to power off the Wiimote. then just hit a a little before you want to reconnect

Just to clarify I'm pretty sure version 1.00 is NTSC only, since I'm from the UK and my copy of the game predates the Jacket but still has the gameplay of 1.01

NTSC 1.0 and PAL 1.0 were released on different dates so while NTSC 1.0 doesn't have the baseball intro cutscene, PAL 1.0 does

you can land anywhere where there is collision. Meaning you can land on water, oob areas, the sand on hole 5, sides of cliffs, and the cliff oob collision on hole 4. I will be making a vid soon that will cover the new things found with this glitch :)

One time I tried it and I was so far in the out of bound zone that still made me go back when I did the glitch. Maybe a possible barrier that I went over.

You can use a plastic tab to disconnect the batteries fast

one other runner uses a soda tab, just use whatever is the most comfortable for you

I’m gonna troll my family members using this glitch.

I know it sounds crazy but I have vague memory as a 3 or 4 year old playing the game and getting this to happen. If it were the glitch then it was back in 2012 and I got it on I think hole 6. I think I was playing with my dad and after that I don't remember what happened. All I know is that from what it looks like from the glitch being performed on hole 6 is the same one I have a memory of. For a long time I thought it was my mind just playing tricks on me and not remembering something correctly but it is just crazy

I can never get disconnected shots to stay on out-of-bounds grass. It works on the side of cliffs and in the water though. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? It's version 1.01.

you'll need to use the water to make it oob grass. it's easiest on hole 3

it hasn't been tested all that much but it is unlikely because whenever you disconnect in resort, a menu pops up telling you to recalibrate

How are you supposed to disconnect your wii remote? Like what do you press to disconnect the remote? Great vid btw!

I managed to do this glitch to get it on the beach in hole 5.

What I wonder is, does this work in some form in Wii Sports Resort? Because if I'm not mistaken, Golf in Wii Sports Resort was literally taken directly out of Wii Sports rather than remade, so if no one knew about this glitch they would have likely never discovered it and fixed it when adapting golf for Wii Sports Resort. There might be something to do with the Wii Motion Plus thing and stuff relating to disconnects rather than the game's code itself that's different that might prevent it, but it would be cool if it does work.

I have 1.01 version of the game. Was the demonstration in the video 1.00 or 1.01? I also heard about a 1.02 version of Wii sports but I don't know much about it.

@@Tech_Champ 1.00 is better for most categories because there is no baseball lineup cutscene but 1.01 is faster for All Training Games because of slight cutscene changes (which again I explain in greater detail on my facts and Glitches video)

@@Plyd823 I just watched the facts and glitches video and you don’t talk about 1.02 much, is that a direct copy of 1.01. The only thing I noticed with 1.02 compared to 1.01 was that the copyright date on the main menu is 2006-2007 on 1.01 and 2006-2008 on 1.02

this means you are disconnecting slightly too late after hitting the ball or are hitting the ball too hard initially

you can do that, but the simplest way is to push down on the positive end of the battery so it loses connection with the little + metal piece that battery normally touches.

there is no way to "update" the game but there are different versions of the game based on when it was published. Later it was published, the more "updated" the game is.

@@thisemptyworm4677 the most notable changes from 1.00 to 1.01 is including a cutscene that shows the lineup in baseball, a cutscene that shows the ball being thrown after caught in baseball, and a protective jacket on the Wiimote on the main screen.

@@Plyd823 i can get the wii remote to disconnect most of the time but the ball will always count as a water hazard no matter what i do different i also got the remote to disconnect by pressing the home button on player 2 then disconnecting then pressing the home button again
