I am doing it for almost five years.. I started donating my sons clothes Which are in good condition to reuse..slowly I started collecting from friends circle and started giving it to anyone and everyone who needs it..

I always donate my clothes. Atleast it will help some if the clothes are in condition of wearing not the ones which are torn n not useful

Go as far as you can see; When you get there, you'll be able to see ahead.

My mother always fills her suitcase with good clothes donated from her friends prior to flying out to India. I would say about 1% of the clothes is for her but the rest she gives it out to the poor people at the temples when she gets there. So yeah donating clothes is important.

Been doing this for the longest time. Gives the clothes I collect to a friend to share in her community. You get an immense joy seeing the look on the children's faces and their parents 💕💕💕

Even if they sell those cloths, they would be selling those in way cheaper price than other markets, like poor people can afford those prices because running an organization like these you need fund unless you’re heavily donated by other sources. Atleast these activities will roll that economic wheel at some purpose while you’re throwing your used clothes in the garbage. I don't see any problem in selling in token prices. Here in US there is store called thrift store where homeless and poor people can buy cloths in cheaper price, and it costs more in dumping those cloths in garbage other than donating those.

Little drops in Chennai collects old clothes for its inmates. They run a thrift store near Porur where things can be bought for a low price. They will come and collect.I donated about 35 pieces. I visited the place also. Srinivasan Chennai

I don't know why but old people are always think that they are correct all time and when we argue with them,then they say we experienced this all things and all and just don't let us do what we want to do. I always wanted to feed the stray dogs but my nana always thinks that these are worst animal and all so they don't let me do this. Even I felt pity for poor so I donate some of my savings to them and I feel good but then he is like they are lying and you shouldn't do that but actually I can't resist myself from helping people and animals and I will do it
