She's obviously a city girl. Having a bird flying around your space can be frightening if you're not used to nature. I'm a country boy that was raised around pigs, chickens, dogs, and cows, but I still get it. Many people run away in terror from chickens, when a 20% kick can completely disable them.

During my first year of college I saw a bunch of girls gather up on the pathway and that’s when I noticed a little bird on the ground. Because the little thing wasn’t flying away we thought it might be injured. I grabbed a tiny stick to check for wounds, in which it just hopped on my sweater. From there I walked towards some bushes away from the pathway. Once I got closer to the shrubs the bird just took off flying. Left a little bit of bird poop on me, but it was worth it. I don’t know if the little bird just wanted attention or what, but now it’s a core college memory, with some pretty cute photos of a bird chilling on my arm ❤
