Ive done that b4 often actually..Also do the same w/car keys(I try to keep a $5 or couple of 1s separate & an extra coinpurse,plus a key fob that doesn't work w/the valet key that won't start my car on the same ring.Keep em easy to get to. I also try 2 stash my main amt.of $,D.L.,the real/main key+working fob & phone w/service,hidden on me whenever I'm gonna be walking or driving around alone out in public or going somewhere that os sketchy like this & where there's a high chance that shit like that could happen. Yes I've been robbed at gunpoint b4,so go figure...

I went to Sydney and saw a woman carrying her bag casually swinging from her fingertips. I thought- oh no her bag is going to get snatched. Then I noticed all the women carried their bags this way. Finally I realized, I was the idiot crossing carrying. If a bag got snatched in Sydney three to four- 6'4" Crocodile Dundee types would be chasing him down and beating the bag out of his filthy hands and then returning it to her. This kind of robbery would not be tolerated either. Next time I visit NYC I will bring an old phone.

Imagine the mugger gets home, opens their bag and it's all just remote controls.

Its Brazil. People in Brazil are pretty smart when it comes to defend them selves, rob, or even know when you’re gonna get robbed. So like- bikes comes to ya, one push you and the other one that is on foot take your phone while you’ve been pushed. And then run away. (With bike). Well- so like- in Brazil you can’t just use your phone out free. The safest way is only using at home. Robbers don’t rob houses there because they know there is a lot of people.

⁠They spread, when I was doing deliveries had one who ordered food to a random house and then pretty much push me back as he snacked the food out of my hands. Another one I’m pretty sure wanted to kidnap me, “get in my car while I call them” to pay for food as he forgot cash. That and the apartments he put in, he didn’t know the gate code. I wasn’t gonna be a dumbass and meet him in the dark where he wanted. Him even asking where I parked. He hanged up immediately after he told them the numbers(because it was fake), but I thought f it. 40-50$ of food isn’t worth me confronting him. This not make sense as it was for a comment in the maxxed thread.

She is Just another person in Latin America. When riding the bus and at street I would have my phone hidden and a cheap one prepared in case I was robbed. Also, If I had to walk 2 blocks from home at night, I would take the cheap phone, just in case of robbery the robber won’t get mad and do something to me. Now In North America I feel safe 😅
