    If anyone was going to "unlock" the Champagne gene it would be Justin! Thanks for this accident as I have always believed we were missing something in the Champagne and have plans for the Champagne gene myself. Fantastic video, always great and useful info. and just mind blowing animals!

    Can you imagine what the Champagne leopard red stripe would look like with monsoon i bet the contrast with those rich colors would be amazing!!!! I can't wait for the future of this hobby.     I love Champagnes. I've got a Champagne dh Lavender Ghost with one black eye and one silver eye, and the Champagne Lavender Ghost with bright red eyes. Stunning snakes.

    I produced a Champagne Ultramel het Pied with 2 different colored eyes as well. One is Ruby Red, one is jet black.... Awesome video!

    Nice to see more going for the champagne gene! I’ve never really liked it except for a select for combos just because it washes everything out, and the single gene is dirty to me. This is fantastic though

    It's interesting to see the different colored eyes. I hatched some Enchi OD Champagne het Hypos last season and one of them has a silver eye and a black eye

    I remember in one of your vlogs when you showcased an animal with champagne at a reptile show. I cant remember who or what but this was a few years back and I believe it was the point I realized the potential of champagne when adding a few genetics. It's a sleeper to the masses for sure.

    This is beautiful, champagne is such a beautiful animal. With this combo forget the het breaths life into something that is so worth exploring . I say forget the hets already thinking this would be beautiful as a ghost

    I was asking myself what has JK discovered with a common gene unlocking potential in another less common Gene. I serious hope it was red stripe unlocking champagne bc my mind could not be blown by another combo with such obvious potential. 👀🔥👍🤯

    The awesome champagne clown combo looked like it was Redstripe Leopard Champagne Clown based on the side with the dots, but you would know better than me cause Im not in the champagne clown project yet.

    Justin, you said before that you believe that redstripe and cypress may be allelic because of the crazy way they look when combined. I think that not only are you correct in that belief, but that those genes might be allelic to champagne, spider, etc. Cypress has a wobble like many of those genes do, and the redstripe champagne combos you just produced look more than just unrelated codoms layered over each other, it looks like allelic genes expressing an acts like super form. Obviously there will need to be breeding trials to prove this out but it's potentially a very interesting new dimension to several projects that people have on the go at the moment.

    Actually you probably are that lucky, Go back even 9 years ago or so and you hit some pretty nice odds, 😂 I have determined JKR has sold his soul to the snake gods, That Champagne Leo Redstripe is actually probably my favorite of all honestly. 🔥

    The ONLY champagne combo I have seen that I liked was Champ Enchi. I haven't seen the other two. Wait...blackhead and spider are allelic?

    I don’t think champagne is a morph that makes sense to mix with most recessives but that being said, I think a lot of people are sleeping on the possibilities it has when adding in the correct codominant mutations. It can create some combos that are unlike anything else out there. Especially now, with the man himself talking about them, I can see their value rising at least a little in the near future. I’m not an expert by any stretch of the imagination so I’m probably wrong. Thats what my gut is telling me me though.
