This gaming keyboard has a touch bar!!! | ROG Falchion Ace

This is the new Asus ROG Falchion ACE, a 65% mechanical gaming keyboard.
and while Asus is showing tremendous efforts in bringing it up to speed, they seem to miss a few key ingredients

Great review, you pretty much answered all the questions I was considering when looking at this keyboard like an option. I guess I'm going to go with a barebones and call it a day instead. No need to expend money on bad switches and ugly keycaps xD.

Hmm.. I guess I`ll be commenting first.. I like how you did the review of this one and pretty good actually, I`m glad I stumble in to this video because I wanted to see how guys like you and other tech communities will receive it.. I am actually looking forward to purchase the ASUS ROG FALCHION ACE compared to the original falchion, I am currently using Keychron K1 SE with white PBT keycaps TKL, been using it for a while now and I really like it except the part that when Keychron decided to put out PBT keycaps for low profile keyboards the letter/numbers are not laser etched, but instead it is like a normal printing on top of the keycap. Obvisouly no RGB shining in to it lol, only at the bottom of the keycaps, that being said I wanted to try the 65% version of the asus falchion ace, most of my accessories are asus, if you`re wondering that why my keyboard is not asus is because I just sold my ROG STRIX SCOPE full keyboard, I went low profile and 75% in terms of space, because I have a small desk, so now goin back to an ASUS keyboard I do hope I enjoy this one, do you highly reccomend it or not? Is it worth getting a 65% mech keyboard for day to day use and gaming? I would love to hear back any opinions are welcome and will help me decide. On the side note, I don`t game a lot because I only choose what I play and really don`t do a lot of typing except if it`s needed for work. Hopefully the price is reasonable.

hi, thanks for the comment :) so, i would say if this one is price fairly in your region, its not a bad choice, it is rather "basic" but its build well enough and the Touch bar really is a nice feature. BUT(!!!) im a tinkerer, especially with keyboards, ans i do like to mod them to my liking, in that case i would suggest you thinking about getting a mod friendly board and play with that. other then that, the ACE is a nice "basic" board, its not the best value, but certainly not the worst. just keep in mind this one is a 65% so no native F Row, only fn+number

@@techpoint7850 Thank you for the reply, I will keep in mind about those keayboards that you mentioned, the moded keyboards I`d seen them, and thanks for your opinion in regards about the keyboard, the current price here in Canada is $159, due to different currency approach it may sound a bit high than the orginal msrp. I`d say I would like to try a 65% keyboard layout and I`d seen those types, if I do get it I have to keep in mind using the F key most of the time, it might be an inconvenient at first but I can adapt to newer layouts like this TKL I`m using now.
