This game is going to be unbelievable. So much to look forward to in 2024

I don't know why, but part of me was afriad that this game would suffer constant delays or something along those lines. I was still stung by Little Devil Inside falling off the map. But they're making quick progress with Wukong. The soundtrack is absolutely fire.

2024 is very special to Chinese people because it is the year of Dragon in lunar calendar. August 20 is very special for Game Science (the developer studio) because it is their anual date for reporting progress to investors and public. Since 2020, every year Game Science released a new trailer for Black Myth Wukong. I wouldn't say it's 100% gonna be on time, but based on the quality of the offline demo play in August this year, I think it is almost ready for release at this point. They probably still have to do some optimization and wrap up work. Let's see

nah, Sun Wukong’s birthday is actually on the 1st day of the 6th month in Chinese Calendar, while 17th day of the 7th month is the day when an eastern china tradition commemorates his birth, which does not necessarily refer to his birthday, when people hold pocessions and ceremonies. but according to Buddihstic tradition, Wukong has another birthday, which is the day when he became buddha, is actually on the 5th day of the 11th month on Chinese Calendar, and the coming one will coincidently be tomorrow, Dec.17th, 2023, and the next on Dec.5th 2024 exactly, (note, chinese calendar is not merely Lunar Calendar, but Lunisolar Calendar). and he was born in 578BC calculated according to Journey to the West.

Nah not having anything to do with the Dragon ball. Game based on a fiction in 16th century China called Journey to the West. Actually dragon ball borrowed the name Wukong from the fiction in China
