I loved this game - played it start to finish, and was heartbroken when it ended. And it’s even sadder to know that they are not doing a sequel. I recommend everyone play Days Gone.

i'm going to need another long series after Days Gone is over. Something about these full game playthroughs here with Fooster hit differently.

@@hellcat1401 i was thinking GOW because of all the mythology that he could ooh and ahh over. I think that's what sets him apart from other creators imo. It's nice to hear someone have a genuine compassion/interest in specific topics and graphics. Though I'm not sure GOW is something he'd be interested in. Maybe TLOU 1&2?

Underrated gem! Riding a custom bike around a beautiful region while battling the horrors is quite satisfying.

Days Gone isnt underrated at all... has won many awards since its PS4 release in 2019... everyone knows how good this game was.. the PC release only made even more popular.

I have on m'y ps4pro, already finish and platine trophy 3 times on 3 account I have a New game save too, and sometimes just play my platine save, reboot all hordes and just ride around beautyfull landscapes and sometimes fight ennemies🙂 Absolut masterpiece

I absolutely LOVE how Boozer was like, "I don't give a damn WHAT they've got, We'll come and get you and Sara". True friends will go through the shit to pull you out on the other side of trouble. Gives me the chills. I've done the same for friends of mine, late night at 3 a.m., A male friend calling you from a bar who is about to get into it with locals or some such, or a female friend calling you from the police station needing bailed out and brought back to base. Stuff like that, I miss those bonds I had. Boozer had it in his voice, "I'M ON MY WAY" and that's so rare these days. Great characters, good writing. And Fooster playing it makes it all the better.

You never have to apologize Fooster for making a “longer” video! We cannot ever get enough of you and this series! Best wishes friend!

Absolutly adore this series that you get so vested in the character and you tell the story of the charcter rather than becoming them. Your editing is superb when you had the Mp3 over that was absolute class

@@fnhatic6694 I wouldn't really call Skizzo, most the militia, or the guards at cloverdale insane tbh. Skizzo just an opportunistic power hungry a-hole. The cloverdale guards just selfish and brutal. And a large chunk of the militia dipped when the colonel started losing it. I honestly think more people left with kouri than we see because there were supposed to be about 1000 militia, but only like around 100 were still at the camp. Other than that tough, yeah kinda. But I still enjoyed it 🤷🏻‍♂

I've been absolutely on the edge of my seat throughout this series, but this one's been the best. The buildup of the story line is incredible. Can't wait for your next episode. I am going to hate to see it end.

I loved this game, I felt like the world had fell apart while playing it. Coming across nest, burning them down, sneaking through hotels, going for loot runs at night. Days Gone deserved a sequel, it was a masterpiece

A sequel would be beneficial I'd be highly anticipated like Dragons Dogma 2 when it comes to hype seeing the potentials it can improved upon, and Days Gone reception was bugs during release that were already fixed and the slow burn tutorial.

Sorry for being blunt, but this game is so incredibly boring, it's literally just walking/driving and shooting all the time. Why is it praised so much? I've played 7DTD heavily modded for almost 3k hours, it never gets boring because you got so much different stuff to do all the time, it's never just running around and shooting stuff... Seems like the average 90 second attention span kid would enjoy this game.

@@dzudemlow yeah I’ve watched enough gameplay of this game and it’s it looks very nice but it’s just another fetch quest game - add in shooting zombies and yeah .. I want a game like this where it’s open world and you play where other human players can enter and you can form large factions and go to war with other human encampments.. have in random tanks and other vehicles you can use and zombies too and that would be fun.

@@dzudemlow what I liked in this game when I first played it was the graphics and core mechanics, rarely there are games that make you feel the value of fuel and allow you to traverse using a bike (most games are car based). Also, at the time when I was playing it, there were no alternatives that I had, so gta releases, no mafia, nothing, so I decided to stick and finish this game. I think what I liked in the game was the feeling of having an open world, where you plan first and then act, had this game not had the concept of fuel, it would be another no-brainer game where you dont plan your moves (perhaps, cant say for sure). It did felt boring at times, but I think the graphics and lack of choices made me stick to it till the end.

Outve all the video game play throughs I’ve watched, and I’ve watched a bunch, this has been by far my favorite. Not only this game, but seeing how much you enjoy it and your commentary. Been amazing man, I’ve truly been enjoying this

Watched from the start and loving every minute. It’s a game I’ve always wanted to play but knowing I’d be all fingers and thumbs I’ve never bought it. Looking forward to the next episode, already bought the popcorn and drink, just need you to upload the next.

Fooster, please give us more full-game playthroughs. I loved this game when I played it. But your unique take on this made me enjoy it all over again.

The amount of detail in this game is incredible from clouds, mist, flying birds, rain, snow, tyre and foot prints, plants and trees blowing in the wind, but most importantly the hordes. How do they get hundreds of individual zombies to move independently? Games like God of War think they are open world but this gives a new meaning to it. Driving through this world is an experience. The AI controlling this game makes the stealth so realistic and I haven't even mentioned the compelling story. It is def my all time favourite.

Finished work earlier, just finished my run, been sitting in my desk chair straight up zoning out scrolling through the 'Tube putting off homework and THIS shows up! Fooster!! You beauty! I have been absolutely LOVING this series. I discovered your channel through Pacific Drive and from there I've dug into the rest of your content, with this series being towards the top of my list. Love the eerie first-person horror style games you do! But this game is truly in a league of its own. We gotta bug the devs for a sequel!! Unfortunately, Sony axed the sequel that bend had planned. Days gone is a great game today but it had a bad launch and underperformed in their opinion. It’s sad and I wish they would at least let us know what the story for the second game would’ve been. The “true” ending gives us a hint, but I want more lol

If you visit Crater Lake I recommend doing it late spring, early summer. We were there during the July Fourth holiday and it was blue skies, blue lake with the contrast of snow still on the ground and the surrounding peaks. Absolutely stunning.

The added echo to your talking while Deek was in the cave with Sarah, then the transition back to normal while walking out of the cave 🤌 so good

Fooster, this game is insane. When you think you've figured it out, the game throws a wrench in your idea and heads off in another direction. I LOVE the intensity you have for this game. The "Come On, Come On" moments put me on the edge of my seat. There is no need to apologize for the duration of the video; you had me on pins and needles as soon as it started and kept me there until the end. BRAVO. My logical side kicks in. Deek should have had Lost Lake relocate to Cloverdale. There is everything any Commune could ever want, and more. Sara would have an entire Science lab at her disposal.

Even tho these videos are over 3 hours, anyone else’s heart sink when you realize we are at the end of the video? I want this game to go on and on! The dialog, back stories, excitement, storyline, the heart attack inducing fights and even the voice actors are the best I’ve ever seen in a game. I can’t believe this is an older game!!

The fact that they captured wizard island in crater lake so perfectly blows my mind. I’ve been there in person, for those that don’t know it’s in southern Oregon

im gonna be so sad when this series is over.....everytime i tune in to the next installation i cant get enough...i get left on cliff hangers making me literally on edge until the next one comes out! such a good story...awesome characters and i love the missions...theyre all different so the game doesnt become repetitive! i love all your content but these story driven games are my fave! cant wait till the next one!

When going into an enemy camp, I love running near some freakers to get a small swarm following me, then dashing through the camp. You can watch the freakers take out most of the enemies for you.

Theres nothing quite like the feeling you get of kiting a huge swarm of infected around and into a well placed killzone with ample explosives in place. The booms and body clouds are something to admire. A job well done 😁 I have no idea why this game never got the coverage it deserved, it is one of my all time favourites and I am happy to see it get the Fooster seal of approval. Great vid and I enjoyed watching it. Memorys were ignited and I feel another run at it is on the cards in the very near future.

The running and stopping and dodging physics would drive me mad but the facial expressions and dialogue feel natural. Eye movements, smiles, etc are incredibly nuanced!

I already watch the game, but man, when you talk, give your points of view and everything, makes me feel good, because I feel Im not alone looking the gameplay, there is someone that interacts with me, even do, can't hear me, that's what I like to hear you Fooster, thanks for this journey, Im loving it, same I loved the other games, please, PLEASE continue with this work, you are awesome and dedicated, thank you so much!

I worked at Crater Lake National Park for two summers in my youth… That a a recognizable, but very “gamified” version of the lake. The real one is much larger, and a true wonder to see.

Absolutely loved everything about this game including the excellent writing and acting. These people have legit, real discussions, authentic reactions to loss and trauma. Played it twice and will likely play a third time.

2nd youtuber i respect that has raved about this game. what little i seen before this week i liked. may add it back to my wishlist

Great game and great playthrough! Remember to use fire bolts with the crossbow for crier nests and use your saddlebag to fill up ammo before you go to the merchant to refill... much cheaper.

The chopper and .50 combo goes unmatched in my opinion. Also don’t sleep on the focus ability. It’s nice in a pinch! Enjoying the series!

I wanted to say thanks for this playthrough. I discovered you a couple years ago and watch all of the time. One of my favorite things is to set myself down at my desk with my tea and a snack and click "play". Once i hear "Alright guys so..." in that familiar, friendly voice, i know my relaxation time has begun. Been waiting for you to experience kouri, iron mike, and skizzo story. So many twist and cool moments. Agree 100% the heart racing, sweaty palms from hordes is unmatched by any game.

Fooster, I look forward to watching your Days Gone series with the same enthusiasm as some of my favorite TV series! I’m not sure how, but you’ve done it! Credit due goes to the devs. They are simply awesome! Please don’t stop this series anytime soon. Whether it’s side missions or just dickering about in the open world. I’ll…. correction….
