There is a usb port. Can this br connected and placed at another point in the car, so if stolen, cannot be detected, yet would give basic feature of geo location remotely when car is switched on.

Jio needs car usage patterns and data around the car health. Thats the only reason they launched this device. Maybe they plan to enter electric car manufacturing at some point in future.

This is just an OBD scanner with a money making proposition for Jio. Nothing for the user except Wifi in car & a lighter pocket.

We have taxi business this device is best to install in our taxi so that my father can check drivers activity .

@@Pulkit_Jain no it does because you dont use these services on daily basis so it feels expensive i have tata safari ira ap costs 6000 something for 2 years and offers very less features i am willing to pay 500 max if they want 3000 per year they should give features like hotspot remote engine start etc

Iska koi fayda nahi hai, apke gaadi me OBD port at least fuse box ke andar hai lekin bohot se gaadiyon me OBD port pedals ke pass hota hai aur iske LEDs ka design itna cheap hai ki pedals ke pass glow hone se chor ko instantly pata chal jayega.

Make sure you don’t connect your own phone to the wifi, i mean the same jio number’s phone. Doing this you won’t be able to receive any calls while the phone is connected to the wifi. Runs fine on other phones.

Agar koi gadi leki chala jaye toh kitne dino tak hum live data track kar sakte hain !

they will remove the unit from port they will plug the same device to other car and mislead the investigation.

Like every other Jio product, this is definitely a waste of money and doesn’t make your car any “smarter”
