How do you turn on the audio book feature? *Hold book to ear* Excuse me sorry to bother you but im not a very good reader... Can you help me with this word? *Open book and point to the "a" in a sentence. Hey is that book your reading the one about the guy who interrupts the woman reading so she can put her number in his phone and take her out for coffee the next day? (Then give her your phone in the contacts section.... Kind of a pick up line i doubt would work but still counts right?) Dont you just love bookstores? I certainly do... Except for all the book...

These are great! As long as they make you happy, you’re winning. At this point, it doesn’t really matter how they react. The point is to express yourself and have fun. You’ll notice that many people “rejected” us at first. That’s to be expected. In some cases I’m breaking social norms. In others it is just unexpected and they are confused for a second. You can try these out and see what happens. Even if they are lame, you’ll learn something important. Go. Have fun!
@lunch72135 жыл бұрын
I’m supes antisocial and shy, hence why I’m here. Would you say that trying out the jokes in person is really vital in the beginning? Or is it unnecessary, since the purpose is to think faster (I am pretty sarcastic and dry tho)
@YourCharismaCoach
5 жыл бұрын
Trying out the lines allows you to express yourself. That way you are not worrying about impressing anyone. Simply enjoying the things you’ve written down to try. You’re also going to get valuable feedback on what you’re doing by trying them out. If that’s too big a step right now, writing things down allows you to train that part of your mind to be flexible and witty when you want it most. Saying them out loud can be the next step you get to.

Very useful! Please keep doing these videos :)
If I were at a book store and a guy came up beside me and asked if I liked books, that would honestly make me laugh. 😂
Great stuff Marcus, agreed its all to do with whether you find it funny, and the vibe you have. The book upside down is a classic, have done that a few times and is definitely my fave :).
Fantastic content as always buddy! Keep em coming!
Love these videos mate! Cheers from California

Thanks man! I did this about 20 years ago, whit a much older married woman and it worked! Then few years later the Game came along (pua's) and i got lost in this war of marketing between the routine guys and the so called naturals. This video is great man!
Nice video. Keep up the good work

That's pretty funny! Definitely would have used in this video
“PENNsylvania call and wants it’s pens back” is what I said in my college library. Then sat down in the table across and pulled out my pen collection to rewrite my notes. (I’m talking 15 different colored pens)
Way to go! I love this, especially that if a moment in which you could but didn't talk to somebody pases, later you find yourself in a similar situation and use the line or witty remark that you felt bad for not using in the first place. On a sidenote your videos have been getting better visual quality which is great. Thumbs up for more videos in the future! ^_^

Sure. You might like turning it upside down and remarking “There. That seems like the right position now.” With a smile. And see what happens.
I come up with really silly shit to say in my head. I'd laugh at my own expense haha.

It's finally here haha
Over in Canada, making a witty joke to a random woman in a bookshop gets you labeled as a rapist.
it would be funny if you messed with people and get great reactions like how some pranksters like LAHWF, BigDaws etc. (they do simpler pranks like giving awkward compliments etc)
I wouldn't be able to force myself to say these things, maybe I'm too self conscious?

It's always a risk to say something different. If yous ay it with a smile, you reduce the risk of it falling flat.

Heres my attempts...id prob never say them because i feel like they are all dumb but these are what id write if i actually wrote something in a bookstore... Why are all these dvd cases full of papers? Excuse me do you know if they have any books in here? Hey can you help me?

Go. Have fun!
I’m supes antisocial and shy, hence why I’m here. Would you say that trying out the jokes in person is really vital in the beginning? Or is it unnecessary, since the purpose is to think faster (I am pretty sarcastic and dry tho)
@YourCharismaCoach

I think being light hearted is great but way way better if it’s spontaneous. The canned and pre planned lines really felt awkward, forced and fake
Some of these felt preplanned and cringe but most are very witty and funny 👍
If people say you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover why is it that people are always looking at its backside?

Straight out of a Nick Park animation!
You're telling me to go to a bookstore with the intent of talking to strangers, sit down with a pad of paper and a pen, observe people trying to privately shop, then develop a funny thing to say to them so they will like you and talk to you? This is straight out of the book of an intense sociopath.
