I was homeless 16 years old( white girl) in south Africa and the street children in hillbrow looked after me when I got on my feet and went looking for them most had died. This man shows that we as south African people can live together (I knew this back then) but our government divides us. Bless you. Sir 🙏

I'm from Chicago area all ages are homeless it hungry or don't have parents or electricity etc ... I'm the US the money is with the very few. There is an extremely large monetary disparity gap.

I sponsor children and feed many in Africa. My heart is the size of our continent but my wallet empty. I feed homeless people, purchase food for the shelter in addition to feeding feral cats. The father can work at a car wash, fast food restaurant, recycling centers, janitor etc. Plentybof entry level jobs out there. As a father, I do whatever it takes to feed my children and give them a roof over their head, even if it meant I had to work 3 jobs every day. Im sure the excuses will come in from all the snowflakes.

@@ramonlgarcia9036 If he's by himself...it's hard when you first start working b/c you have to have at least two paychecks to qualify for any type of childcare assistance. She seems to be under elementary school age as well...so you have to shell out the money for childcare for at least a month before you can qualify for assistance OR find an employer who is fine with you bringing your child to work with you. Hopefully, he has a home b/c most shelters won't take a dad and young girl. Hell, most shelters are women's shelters and won't accept men or take male children once they hit 14...at least near me, that's how they are. It's easy to judge until you have to live that life. If I didn't have a least a little support, I would've been screwed tbh.

That little girl is an absolute treasure. The Dad is so blessed to have her as his daughter. Placed her soda straw wrapper in the bag, stated that’s too much money. Thank you for helping them Sir. Best of Health in this New Year and beyond.

Those were my thoughts exactly ! First thing is to protect the little girls feet from cuts and infection which will wreak havoc for the rest of her life once the infection lies dormant in her system waiting for the moment to manifest when she becomes fatigued.

I don't cry often, but this has me in tears. I've been in his spot before, and know that this man is filled with nothing but worry, fear, and sadness. You can see it in his face. It a universal thing I seen it in California where working class people live in there car because they can’t afford rent they have just decided to keep the car payment and insurance on their vehicle get free food take shower in the gym it becomes a survival mechanism, in one of the richest country in world people are suffering another I was watching where went president Dixion was in power he vowed to wipe hungry in the USA and it still there because it was one place where the community depend on the coal mining for their living after the factory closed down other factors come in there start business, it just keep going down it become the way of life there some families go hungry have to skip a meal to give the younger ones shamefulness the children rely on the school program to have a good meal, and when school is out a truck goes around to supply the children with food, they so depend on the system it makes them don’t see another way out or maybe they don’t want to associate themselves to outsider 🤷🏽‍♀️they set in their ways

As tears run down my face I wish everyone in the world could see this. The love and humanity is overwhelming. This is what life is really about. When the little girl said "this is too much money" I lost it. Crying uncontrollably, GOD Bless everyone everywhere!

Life has always been about survival, not giving lesser or unfortunate people money. The strong survive, the weak perish. This is the natural order of things. Nothing wrong with acts of kindness, charity or love but spare yourself the delusion thinking humanity to be linear and selfess.

It's a norm for children her age to be barefooted as it's comfortable.I used to enjoy being barefooted and only wear shoes when being reprimanded!!

That sweet, precious little baby girl has nothing to her name. Homeless, yet look at the precious little smile on her face. The sweet preciousness of the holy spirit in this little child. These stories where these sweet little kids are homeless brings me to my knees. Have mercy Lord.

My uncle was like this except he had nothing and always tried feeding everyone on the street that was hungry or giving friends a couch to sleep on, than he got a check for 15k gave it out to family but everyone left after his money ran out, he passed away and so did my mom who was 43 lbs in a wheelchair but they were the nicest humans ever miss them so much i helped them out

Seeing a kid being homeless break my heart.

My heart went out to the little girl with no shoes, she reminds me of my 2 year old daughter. I’d have given that family whatever I could. Well done sir.

if that was true SA should be going a lot better than what we see happening now. but good people helping each other goes a long way for sure. a lot of people here in the Netherlands need some extra help these days too, but this struggle is really heartbreaking poverty.

When you give, don't ask what they are using it for, most of them just want to fill their bellies. When you give, give with your heart or don't give at all. You are blessed to give to anyone in need. And you Will be blessed. One never knows when they might be in the same place. At any time! It will make your heart soar to put a smile on their face. Nothing better than that!

I'd be the proudest father in the world if I had a daughter like the young daughter. Poor little heart - where are her shoes? This is one of the saddest videos that I've watched. Me, a big grown man crying. I hope that the father buys those tools, and turns his family's life around. Phakathi, you are the very very best.

I am South African and I can tell you that this is typically how the young (Afrikaans white) kids normally would walk around. So it's not at all weird for Afrikaans white people to walk around barefoot (in the shops etc) Yes, in this instance the family might also not have the means to afford shoes for her but even if they had the means I think the little girl would have probably still been barefoot.

Kindness ...??? Funny thing before "kindness" dont need be showed, but now "kindness" need be recorded and put on KZread for likes. This guy only do this for likes.....i dont see and TRUE HELP. How a burguer King will help ??? She didint have even shoes !! This helps nothing. If you want help they need be taken out streets into some help ONG. There many houses who can help, and this kid need better protection and go to school....people here whishing a good future for her...HOW ???
