6:36 that song Maa by Shankar Mahadevan (the breathless song guy and part of the music director trio shankar-ehsaan-loy) is from the movie "Taare Zameen Par", listed on IMDb by its English title "like Stars on Earth". It was Aamir Khan's directorial debut and it is an absolute masterpiece! A very IMPORTANT film which I believe every parent and teacher the world over should be made to watch. This movie single handedly raised awareness for a very little known condition that affected lives of so many young kids and hopefully changed it for the better. I definitely think it should be the next in line for your movie review channel.

James who sang "Bheegi Bheegi" is one of the most popular Rock Artist in Bangladesh, probably in West Bengal too.

I think Waleska And Efra need to do a podcast on each singer specifically like one for Arijit, Shreya, Sunidhi, Atif, Lata Mangeshkar, Shankar Mahadevan etc. but all spaced out so it doesn't get repetitive for them and us even though they are all distinctly unique Also, check out singers from the South, like K.S. Chitra, K. J. Yesudas, S.P. Balasubrahmanyam etc.

Fun fact: today its actually 19yrs since kal ho na ho released! That movie has such a special place in my heart!!! 🥺🥺

Dil Ibadat sing of KK was adopted for vampire show and it fits perfectly. I didn't know the singer back then couldn't care less but use to listen continually for weeks

when I realised that KK has been all along through my childhood to adulthood and only acknowledged in 30s 😌😌

My childhood is full of kk songs 🎵. His voice is so soothing.

Go for *GOLD* guys! If you haven't checked out the era of Mohammad Rafi, Manna Dey, Mukesh or Hemant Kumar ...Kishore Kumar ....I'm not even mentioning stalwarts like Lata or Asha ....the real treasure is here! Till date the songs that are rendered are from these legends!

Here's to KK ..one of the best ever .. left us too soon! We are soo unfortunate that we won't be hearing any more new songs of his... KK sir... RIP 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🥺

Can't believe they did not include "Main Deewana by Ganesh Hegde" in the top 100. He ruled the charts for a complete year. Choreographer turned Singer, Producer and Director. It was super popular in early 2005-6. You should check out the song. Way ahead of his time.

Dooriyan (from Love Aaj Kal), Maa (from Taare Zameen Par), Tanhayee (from Dil Chahta Hai), Ya Ali (from Gangster), Khoon Chala (from Rang De Basanti), Dil Ibaadat (from Tum Mile) are some of the songs from this list that I'm guessing from your reactions that you haven't yet heard. They all come from brilliant evergreen albums (there were multiple songs in the list from all these albums) and all except the last one are great movies to check out.

6:36 people don't know this fact this song was sung by kk, but shankar wanted to change something in the song lyrics so he called KK again but KK said he cant come hes with family and told shankar that he can sing it very well he should do it. I love whoever makes these old school compilation music videos, I swear you guys bring back so much locked childhood memories, always making me emotional 😭🥰 Also, what I've seen a lot of people do to get out of copyright strikes is do streams on Discord. So like they'll do a watch party on discord and watch movies with the whole server, or watch music videos on the server and it works well. Only downside would be saving the video, unless you record the stream somehow and upload an edited version on youtube. Idk but just an idea. Tho it would be cool to do a movie live watch party with you guys.

Thanks, most of these songs indeed were great ones from those movies, what an melodious era of our early youth. KK songs there never were any bad ones, he is a legend that is very truly missed for our times. He sang tremendous hits for films of Emraan Hashmi. In the scenes where someone is playing an instrument or otherwise it is not real only reel which is quite obvious to all. Not a fan of Himesh Reshammiya, but he did have some good songs, he became popular for his nasally tone which was different. The song Babuji Dheere Chalna was from a 1954 film Aar-Paar. You should check out Jagjit Singh from the Ghazal genre, earlier AR Rahman songs of 1990s-2000s movies.

Kumar Sanu was called the King of Melody, and Udit Narayan was nicknamed King of Hearts. Sonu Nigam, KK, Mohit Chauhan, Shaan, etc were nowhere close to these 2 legends of Indian music: Kumar Sanu & Udit Narayan. Together, they have sung more than 3300 songs.
