As a theory sould* you wall bang the bottom part of the loop on the other side to skip it ? Or would that be slower

It would be a very tight angle, but it might save a small amount. Though, since there are anti-boosters after the edge bug, not having the extra bit of speed from the boosters before the loop would likely render the run slower (unless you skip them by hugging the wall).
