📚 ABOUT THE Kershaw Iridium:
Stylish design with gray-anodized aluminum handle scale. Measures 7.9 inches opened, 4.5 inches closed. Weighs 3.3 ounces.
DuraLock secures the blade open using a solid steel crossbar; pull the ambidextrous lock back to safely close the knife.
D2 high-carbon tool steel is highly wear-resistant, tough, offers excellent edge retention; two-tone blade finish with stonewashed flats and satin grinds.
Opens easily with KVT ball-bearing system and thumb studs
Deep-carry pocket clip is easily reversible for left/right carry; bronze-anodized backspacer and lanyard hole.

I bought this version of the Kershaw Iridium and love it. So when the Iridium Tanto came out, I bought that one too. Both are fantastic knives..!
Been carrying a leek for 20yrs but switched to the Iridium about 6 months ago its a great knife!

Oh man, that’s an awesome back story! Thank you for sharing! Coincidentally enough, the Kershaw Leek was the first edc knife I fell in love with when I first got into the hobby. The iridium is just an amazing edc through and through! It now comes with a sheep’s foot blade too.
I'm a fan of the look. It's been a while since I picked up a new Kershaw.

It’s pretty nice, and honestly I personally hadn’t picked up a Kershaw since my Leek last year, but this one is a game changer IMO. Thank you for your comment! 🤝🏼

@MiguelEDC I certainly won't let D2 stop me from picking one up. I used to dislike D2 until I decided to stop finicking over corrosion. I have a CJRB Agave in D2 that I have given no preventative care other than removing a tiny pinpoint of rust from the finger choil where I grip for detailed cuts. In my humid environment it's only darkened some compared to my stainless steels.
Kershaw iridium exclusive to their website, 14C28N with a TOPO aluminum handle, G10 back spacer. 100 bucks. Hopefully they'll off it for retail at a lower price point.

Very nice! Both super solid edc knives and both with aluminum handles. So I guess it comes down to which blade geometry you like most and also whether you prefer crossbar lock more vs button lock or viceversa.
