I had one guy on eBay use feedback extortion because they claimed item not as described. Piece of shit mother fucker got what he paid for and left me a negative feedback. He never sent proof just his word vs my word. eBay should've just locked both parties to leaving a neutral feedback but, they don't do that. It's hard selling elsewhere because eBay is the major online store front. Shit happens I guess. Thanks for the great video.

I don't get it after 4 hours ? How can moan after that time ? I dealt expecting my to the phone I had up for 22 pound ( it was a 100 pound phone ) speaking of Ebay what on earth is up with the fees now ? Ergo why I don't sell there . I charged a listing fee and sellers fee of around 18 pound? I've no problem paying the the correct but 18 pound for a 100 pound item ? Is eBay or cex ( yes, cex where I buy things from , the money they give for things is robbery , I buy ps4/ ps5 games as game stopped selling pre owned ) ..

That is very true someone goes off all angry assuming they are being ignored without even knowing if their message or whatever it is was received. With something like an e-mail the person on the other end may not check that constantly. For example someone has a surprise party for their parents anniversary and sends only facebook invites. Now if say your aunt who is very close with your mother doesn't rsvp are you going to just be angry and assume she doesn't care? Probably not you'd call, text leave a voice mail to be sure your message got there. Until you do especially here in a very short period of time you shouldn't jump to conclusions straightaway.

That is crazy - Might be a crack head. I had a crazy experience with a buyer who wanted to return my sealed DVD after opening it, that said in the title "European" , because it won't play in my DVD player. I told her why and I don't accept returns on sealed items after they were opened. Ebay then let her return it anyway but she cracked both discs in half and sent then to me. I had to fight with ebay for 2-3 months but finally got my money back. I find it REALLY NICE how ebay has SELLER PROTECTION - What a joke!

Similar thing almost happened to be, but luckily they never ended up shipping the item back, so I just got the money after 14 days. Crazy how you can have zero return policy and then they can open a dispute with eBay and force a return on you.

Holy cow, imagine the thought of him doing that to literally every buyer he's ever had that hasn't paid right away for 24 years... Dude needs to touch grass immediately and frequently!

I got scammed out of a 1070 years ago. The Seller was a “ Video Card repair service “ he had me ship it out to him. What I didn’t realize at the time I had shipped it to an international shipping company which probably had orders to ship it to him in another country after the video card had arrived. He stopped responding to me and ghosted me. Never heard from him again. Live and learn.

You know Yardsaledale probably has no idea he's living rent free.

If he's so worried about getting paid immediately, he should use that option. I use that option on all of my listings.

I found the sold listing for this on ebay. I'm almost tempted to write the seller and tell him that even if he ever does have anything listed for sale that I'm interested in, I won't buy from him because of how clearly unhinged he is. I'm most likely NOT going to do that, but I am tempted. As for crazy ebay stories, this probably isn't as crazy as yours, but it is on the top of my personal experience list. A few years back, I bought a disc-only copy of a PS1 game which was listed in "Very Good" condition, and no problems could be seen in the pictures provided. The buy-it-now price was very good compared to other listings, so I went ahead and bought it. Now obviously, being that it was a disc only copy, I was not expecting it to come with the original case, manual, artwork, etc. BUT as is a standard when shipping any kind of CD/DVD/Blu-Ray/etc. that is not coming with the original packaging, I was at the very least expecting it to come in some kind of disc envelope or generic cheap disc case. But NOPE.... the guy just put the bare disc inside of a shipping bubble envelope. This blew my mind when I received it. On top of which, the disc did have some visible scratches on it, which IMO goes well against the "Very Good" condition it was listed as. It's not so much that I was worried about it being pristine looking, but I wanted to get a copy that works, so that's why opted for this copy. After seeing the scratches, I went and tested it as thoroughly as I could to make sure it worked, as I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it. And this is where things with the seller get humorously ridiculous. Before I even received it, he had messaged me thanking me for the purchase, and asking for good feedback because someone else was (supposedly unfairly) trying to leave him negative feedback. Then after I received the package, I left neutral feedback saying the disc works but seller lacks common sense for not putting it in a generic case or envelope. There was some back and forth in messages about it. He was saying that there was no promise of any kind of case. I said that I didn't expect the original packaging, but it is standard to at minimum put the disc in a generic disc envelope for protection. And it shouldn't be listed as very good if it has scratches on it. And he said that if I want something in pristine condition, to go to Best Buy and buy a current brand new game. Let's just say he didn't last very long on ebay after that. LOL

OMG... that is nuts! The strangest eBay purchase for me was a laptop that was a theft recovery. The thief put a BIOS password on the computer, making it unusable once returned to the owner. She already got an insurance payout, so she sold the laptop on eBay. I bought it and popped the BIOS PW, and realized that all of her photos and documents were still on it. I contacted her, and ended up shipping her a disc with all of her pics/data. She was very grateful, and contacted me periodically for months, thanking me.

As a eBay seller myself not super active with it anymore but I've dealt with auctions. As a seller it does suck when the person doesnt pay in a reasonable time or waits until the last day because then you have to relist the item and wait longer but he went pretty extreme about it constantly messaging you about it lol.

Alls well that ends well I guess LOL! You got your clock, seller got their payment, and yet yardsaledale is still on the loose...

I can’t believe they sent you a 3D-printed improvised explosive instead of a PS3. Can’t trust anyone these days.

From the video, anyone can tell that this is obviously not 3D-printed, and also not an improvised explosive device, which is why my comment is absurd. It’s just intentionally false and easily disproven by watching any part of the video above. Sorry if you took my attempt at being silly as some kind of dig. Having been a seller on ebay since the early days, I have had my fair share of crazy buyers . Years later they still stick in my head!

My opinion is if your so desperate to get paid $62, maybe you shouldn't be trying to sell stuff on eBay, where as a buyer you have 4 days to pay, you Should look for more Constant stream of income.

I sold some parts on ebay to a guy in Canada I shipped them out right away but the tracking stops for me after the Item leaves the US, the buyer was mad at me for it taking too long, once I explained I have no control over Canada's shipping process the feedback got adjusted from a negative to a positive.

About a yer into covid I had a guy freak out on me and report me cause I relisted an item after he bought the item, which I had multiple of the same item. Ended up calming him down, he contacted eBay so retract the report and deleted his negative feed back. He ended up leaving me the nicest feedback ive recieved so far lol

Reminds me of a roofing guy I contacted. Was desperate enough I started working through the phone book. Called a guy and he didn't introduce himself. I asked "is this roofing?" And he goes on to ask "who's asking?" I play along a bit and start to explain the job and he says "are you a real customer or are you just trying to sell me leads?" I hung up after that. It's baffling how many people just fly off the handle with potential customers.

I had a similar situation on Facebook marketplace. I bought a “working” ps3 fat 60GB with pictures of it working and plugged in. It was non local so he shipped it and I got a PS3 that was falling apart missing screws and missing the ribbon cable for the power button. I requested a refund and he said I was trying to scam him but Facebook refunded me and I kept the paper weight ps3. It was also YLOD after I used a ribbon cable from another ps3

I’ve had a crazy seller who accidentally sent me the same item twice I informed them then they called the police 😂

What's with this seller? I've been selling on eBay since around 1998 with a 100% feedback rating. At least with my auctions I give the buyer two days to pay. But eBay handles all the transactions, so if you did pay this guy right away, like you said he might not got his money for several days. These messages you shared make no sense.

This seller reminds me of this guy I had to deal with on a game called Lands of Lords. I hadn’t played the game in 3 years and I accidentally deleted the marketplace which basically makes your little village useless, all of a sudden I have this guy messaging me and creating forum posts about me. Dude was convinced I was an alt being used to scout when in reality I didn’t know what I was doing LOL. Some of these people just spend too much time in their own head.
