@Darthvegan honestly I think that half of the time, your 'learning curve' provides a better experience for us watching.

The SVT rifles are semi automatic and that's why your lone rifleman survived in the beginning. Awesome video 👍

Love them SVT Rifles i pick them up ever chance i get...swap them out for certain Automatics.

hahaah, totally caught me off guard.

Also don't forget to swap your tanks from shooting AP to HE when shooting at infantry it'll make all the difference when you're using the bigger calibers

Aaah yes.. ..one game I thoroughly enjoy playing, just so wonderful to see it being played by an epic KZread gamer. Great episode Darth Vegan, excellent.. call of arms is unsung of in my honest opinion, yes it's played by other people on KZread but I think it hardly gets enough spotlight. Great start to a new series, excellent.. just been playing it myself before watching this episode. Great work mate, now I'll have a moments silence to remember those troops, you did them proud. Well done mate 👏 👍

I agree, I hardly see people talking about this game. And with mods, it has SO much to offer. The gameplay is engaging and fun, you can micro as much or as little as you want. The storied campaign is fun, but I think the dynamic campaign is where you get your money's worth.

@@darthvegan Couldn't have worded it any better, the campaigns in this thing is really where the good stuff blossoms. It's ironic that the games that have a lot to offer end up being unsung, but.. they aren't unknown or forgotten. I recommended this to my younger brother once and he's always asking for long term lends.. but since he's always on Star Wars and Game of thrones, Lord of the rings.. I've got it back. Headache at times when you need to lend a good game a lot at times, but.. it's something all the best gamers and warriors need to do at times.. making the comrade in arms happy. Happy gaming mate 👍

Not getting a lot of spotlight might be down to us being a very small studio, and we work without marketing budget. We developed GoH in our spare time, which is why it took 5 years to release. And for the next DLC, the 6th of june seemed the perfect day to announce the US as the next faction. Have you seen the teaser? It's on our channel.

Well.. all I can say at this moment is.. you made a great game, and I'm really very sorry to hear about the studio size.. I can really see your ordeal, and with no marketing budget.. I really can see what other problems you have to run with. I will say this it's been well done despite the time it took, it was work well done and thanks so much for your efforts. No I've not seen the teaser you've just mentioned but I'll be sure to watch it.. I'll get round post haste. It's really a great game you all made, played so many campaigns and operations I've lost count, just never get tired of it. Thanks so much for that wonderful comment, and thank you.. all of you.. your efforts have well been acknowledged. It's typical.. the hard workers don't get much spotlight at times, but at least your work has been enjoyed and is clearly a success. I hate how in EVERY single battle, your troops are ALWAYS outnumbered, depending on your difficulty settings. I think in Normal there will be 5 times as many enemies as you have troops.. It feels like the devs dont know how to create a challenging AI, so they just do a wave attack type of system. I also hate how it feels like the enemy AI always knows where I am.. I might be mistaken on this, but they always attack in my weak flank.. How the hell do they know that. Worst of all, why add a freaking timer that is so short.. It prevents us from advancing strategically and methodically while strengthening our rear and flanks.

This same "AI is stupid " problem exists in most tactical/strategy games. And the enemy is buffed ot like you said greatly outnumbers the player. It irritates me as well.

Darthvegan: for as long as i playedd i didnt know what the helmets where for in the conquest i really haven't played the conquest. Wgaat difficulty mode you play on, you play for thee long Haul or short? really enjoyed to video. you approach with patiacne think thas why i get dead a lot i am too aggesive.

Patience is something I struggle with as well. I currently play on Average difficulty until I can get more familiar with the units and the overall micromanagement. I try to think about the long term goals when selecting my research

You just get hit from some of the most unexpected places, don't you?

@@darthvegan Also, one tip: you can move crewed weapons, ammo boxes, etc. around by double right-clicking on the spot you want them to move to. You don't need to use the "change position" menu button, thankfully :)

I believe it was Medium/Moderate/Average, whatever it calls it in this game.
