ww2.kqed.org/trulyca/this-dust...
Thirty years after he last saw her, Stanford English Professor John Felstiner finds wonder and mystery in the life and death of a former student. This Dust of Words, whose title is based on Elizabeth Wiltsee's honors thesis, is both an elegy for a life lost and a celebration of the charitable nature of humanity. A film by Bill Rose.

Amazing, luminous and deeply haunting. Not something I can or want to forget. Her life becomes a love-letter from consciousness to the abyss.

The answer is staring us all right in the face. She was too beautiful and the world was too ugly. She could not resolve it in her mind so her mind ending up completely breaking.

Thank you for putting up this video, it was done well and I sat watched the entire movie. What a touching story. Why did I stumble upon this video?, why did I watch it all the way though? It grabbed my heart and wish I could helped her out, as the people of Watsonville did. It was sad. Maybe it was meant to be? Elizabeth is now free and living on the other side, one day I will get to meet her. God Bless everyone, who has a heart and has some spare time in our way too busy lives.

"Whether the misunderstood are only understood by themselves within themselves or those who knew them is often unclear. It is clear however is that not everyone seeks to understand what is misunderstood because they are often afraid others might not comprehend the simple complexities of compassion. Bill Rose has clearly explained that Elizabeth was gifted on many levels. "
