I think she was 11 or 12 when she wrote the bass line, and the three of them workshopped the song around it. Even more impressive is the bonus intro she plays sometimes, written about when she was 13, for Dust to Dust. They used to use it for shows before Intro 404 as their opener.

Yep. Beto Ramos is also Pau's drum teacher, and he plays drums on *Narcisista,* so Pau can come down front and sing lead at the Teatro Metropolitan concert in 2022.

Luis has always been a very strong presence in the band, by supporting his daughters at every turn, yet he has not been the sound engineer for the band during the improvement and refining of their live sound. This can not be overstated. Jason isn't fabricating hype... every song in this concert is outstanding. I'll add to it and assert that they simply don't have a bad or mediocre song in their 50+ song catalog.

This song was built from the bass line that Ale' created at 11 years old. They wrote and composed two studio albums as teenagers in a second language. They just wrapped a 19 show tour in Europe and will hit Japan and Canada this year also. They are releasing tracks from their 4th Album "Keep Me Fed" and the latest video Que Mas Queries is a masterpiece, co-directed and written by Pau.

@@chasingbirds3073 Kind of a dumb statement. You know the song but there are subscribers from his channel who might NOT have heard it. When a pause happens it stops the flow of the song. Doing a 5 or 10 second rewind would remind a new listener to what was being played...especially after an extended comment, like the reactor does. That's "why".

The background track with sermon in Spanish. That was their manager Rudy. In earlier performances Rudy joined them on stage in the role of a preacher, preaching to the audience. To get the ‘complete’ presentation of this song and the full album Queen of the Murder Scene, look for the full concert at the Lunario CMDX in 2018. They were very young and sounded raw. You have to experience that concert!

They talk in their tidal rising documentary about having K-pop and Pau was going through her Emo phase when they wrote this song. They listen to many genres and are influenced by many. Thanks for the reaction.

They all ejercise and Pau runs on a treadmill while singing. Also this concert in Mexico is at 7000+ feet elevation so take that into consideration.

*Dust to Dust* is the prologue song on DPA/TW's _"Queen of the Murder Scene"_ concept album (aka QOTMS)... it is inviting you in to hear the deep, dark, and foreboding story of a young woman apparently in love with someone that doesn't even know she exists... it is a story about how well things can appear to be going and how fast it can all fall apart... it follows her battles between good and evil over her soul... the Spanish speaking part is their manager, Rudy, playing the part of a preacher at the funeral... translated to English, this is what he says... Brother! Salvation is something that is earned! Let go of your hand of resentment and Wake up to a new light within you Although your brothers try Plunge into the darkness DPA/TW's _"Queen of the Murder Scene"_ is one of those concept albums best experienced by listening to it from beginning to end in order... listening to each of the songs piecemeal and out of order is like trying to figure out a movie by catching a portion near the end, one from near the beginning, and one near the middle... yeah, it won't work out very well... their performance of it at Lunario was the first time the album was presented in full to the public... it had been released over time in chapters of three songs each and the last three songs were presented here to complete the album... i like Lunario because it was the first public performance, the animations on the big screen behind Pau, and the girls were in character... others prefer their presentation of QOTMS at another venue for various reasons... as a concept album, many of us members of TWA can easily see QOTMS as a movie or Broadway stage performance... it is that good and to think it was written by them at a very young age and released as their 2nd album! i mean... whoa! who does that?? 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

The thing no one remembers to mention is the context of the creation of this song. They were 16, 14, and 11 when they wrote this! That is just crazy!!

I totally understand why you say that each member can have their own cult following and I agree. Each has their own qualities, talents and personalities that comes through not only in their music, but during their interviews, when they go live on social media, and in the several documentaries about the band. This concert is the best concert ever on YT and I would highly recommend any song from this. Try Z to see how well Dany can shred.

If you have something to point out, by all means rewind and do so. Nerd out alll you want, the "Drum Nerd" does as do other musicians. "23" is another song in this concert where Paulina sings while drumming. Consider the premiere of the Spanish song "Narcisista" from 2019, Paulina sings lead. FYI: consider watching the "Dust to Dust" performance from the Foro Didi concert from 2019. There is a drum cam over the high-hat and you can see Paulina up close. It is the opening song of the concert so you can just start the video from the beginning. How about a bass tutorial as well? The bassline carries through the song 😎👍

TW has various styles of rock but they are invariably pure rock!! With its structure, its breaks, transitions, rhythm changes, modulations, choruses, pre-choruses, drum attacks, its endings… The great beauty of their art is in its simplicity but all this always seems to be at the right time and in the right way, bordering on perfection and predominating sophistication. Each of its pieces can be very different, but always with all the TW flavor. It’s very clear that these sisters have no limits. They have that gift that only belongs to the geniuses that appear among us every certain long period of time. They are the queens of the hook, the riff, the contagious rhythms, the catchy melodies, the sublime vocals, the unbeatable harmonies and the ambiguous but deep and powerful messages. And this happens song after song... INCREDIBLE!! The new rock masters: The Warning. What happened to the cut ending?!! I assume an accident, right? Thanks and greetings from México!! 🇲🇽 🤘😁✌️

You picking up of hip hop into this song is so onpoint, Pau who wrote the full album Queen of the murder scene (lyric and melodie, after they work it as song all toguther) was in her K-pop and hip hop phase, she said it that you can get the influence in that album, Bravo sir! Pau's voice has the ability to make rockers randomly burst into tears. Check out Black holes or Breathe, which are ballads. She also did a fan request for Creep, she went away for a few hours and performed it live on her piano. It's a beautiful rendition. All the sisters are also classical trained pianists from very young. Always rewind 😊

Pau has been singing and drumming since she was a little girl. Her drumming teacher used to make her sing while playing drums to help her practice her coordination. There are videos in their youtube channel of her at 11 years old singing and drumming. She's amazing. 🔥🥁

The Warning are intelligent with their song structures. Being a power trio, they realized very early on that it's not so much what you play, it's more about what you don't play. The tension they can generate is startling. And when any of the 3 throw in a flash, it's so smooth and in the pocket that you can miss it. In this song, when they go off in the middle, Pau just goes nuts on the double kick. It's right there and up front but, with the pocket they created for the whole part, her grooves and the flair comes and goes very fast. And they all do this!! Brilliant!

Pau (Pow!!!) practices singing while running on a treadmill. She also xontrols both the click track and backing tracks with footpedals. She also germinates most of their songs while all three help round them out.

As Mike Portnoy said, that was a premature evacuation.

Rewind when you need to I say!

You will find many influences and flavors in their music. That's what keeps it from getting boring or stale. It's all rock, but it's rock with a bit of a twist. They enjoy a variety of music and feel no need to limit themselves. They also like to explore and try new things.

When you see them live it’s hard to know who to watch, since they are all entertaining in their own way. 😎👍

The other thing to remember when thinking about Pau's physical conditioning and the demands she places on her body - consider that this performance is at Mexico City (CDMX), which is over 7000' in elevation!! Oxygen deprivation is a real thing at altitude! She actually practices he singing while running on a treadmill in order to have the endurance and aerobic capacity to do this!

The bassist ALEJANDRA aka Ale(ah-lay) created this groove at age 11yrs old showed it to the sister's and this song was born.. All 3 are amazing.. Pau was fan voted, Rock Drummer of The Year at the 2023 Drumeo Awards show . 🤯💥🤘🎶✌️

DISCIPLE from the same Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert has Pau and Dany trading lead vocals. It is a great song!

They do indeed take influence from many different genres and add as spice into their delicious hard rock chili. It remains hard rock but you got flavors of hip hop, metal, anime themes/J-pop/J-rock, pop, classic rock'n'roll and others

Great reaction except for the end, it cut so abruptly, what happened there? HEHE! 😜 Check out both of their performances at the MTV VMAs last year of their songs More & Evolve, after those they also have an aftermovie for the VMAs, where they show a behind the scenes of their experience, which is great fun. If you prefer the most recent stuff there is their live video for Automatic Sun. Then the entire show from Teatro Metropolitan is on their channel, so you can react to each of the 22 songs, as all of them are bangers. And I am not even including their first 2 albums, the second being a concept album of 13 songs, Dust To Dust being the prologue, followed by 4 chapters of 3 songs telling a complete story. They have currently over 50 songs and not a stinker in the bunch, with 5 new ones from the next album also all great and the new album drops at the end of June with 7 more, so plenty to react for a long while. All this does not include their interview with Allison Hagendorf which is fantastic to learn about the band, their VLOGs, their aftermovies, their Instagram live covers, etc.

This song is the prologue for the Concept album Queen Of The Murder Scene. I highly recommend checking it out live at Lunario at some point.

Rewinding is great when reacting, it allows you to take time to cover what you just heard and then allow us to hear again with your insight in mind. I have learned so much from other musicians by watching them react and hearing what they picked up on, then listening for it the second time through. Rewind as much as you need if you have some point to bring. Anyway most of the listener have listen to that song over and over and over and still watch any new reactor doing it. You made a number of really good points about the 3 sisters and your enthusiasm for their skill, musicianship and performance was really good to see. Like your approach and style and have a few suggestions: 1 - definitely rewind all you want as many times as you want. 2 - you had the video covered with text - did you think you needed to? Have seen 100’s of reactions to this concert without such masking - don’t think you need it for this concert, at least. 3 - if you had a summation at the end of this particular video, perhaps you can make on the next TW reaction you do. 4 - suggest staying at this concert as it’s a great showcase for their previous 3 albums (XXI Century Blood, Queen of the Murder Scene and Error). D2D is clearly a favorite as you’ve seen and that’s the prelude to QOTMS. Other great songs from this concert include Ugh, 23, Animosity, Disciple, Dull Knives, When…hell, they’re all great.. 5 - one last hint: Teatro is pronounced “Tay-atro” and is Spanish for Theatre (and CDMX stands for Mexico City). Lastly you did great with Pau’s name. Her sister on the bass is Alejandra or Ale (“Al-ley”) and Dany (Daniela) is the lead singer and the oldest. At this concert, Dany is 22, Pau is 20 and Ale is 17. Look closely in the beginning, Pau is adjusting her mic or IEMs playing with one hand 😮

It is actually expected that reactors rewind a few seconds every time they stop. There is just too much to miss- especially when some reactors stop in the middle of a feature section.

By cutting it off short, you missed the audience going crazy(which gives many of us chills). Now......Singing and playing drums id really tuff, but imagine being in Mexico City, elevation or 7,350 feet above sea level. I have been at an altitude of 5,500 ft. just slowly walking thru the airport and I was winded. Had to stop and slowly deep breath to get oxygen back in my system. This was a 1hr 45min concert. It still amazes me.

The bass comes through clear because Ale is a powerhouse. They write all their own music, but they collaborate on each others parts as well. As Ale has pointed out, when they are doing bass lines, all three are involved, and the same applies to every component. (You will never bore us by rewinding anything of theirs. Seriously a lot of your commenters here have seen this video hundreds of times.) Ooops, you cut out a little quickly.

The bass comes thru because it’s a 3 piece and each instrument becomes more important in a 3 piece . The bassist has to cover the bottom end and be the rhythm

This is the prologue to their second album, *Queen of the Murder Scene.* It's a rock novel in four chapters of three songs each. It's quite the masterpiece, considering they were all teens when they created it! By the way, Paulina has won three major awards recently, from Drumeo, Modern Drummer, and the Decididas Summit. She co-directed their latest music video for *Que Mas Quieres,* a "telenovela" style short that is richly layered with melodramatic acting, gas lighting, girl-bossing, self-deprecating humor, and a bit of whodunit, coupled with a lingering question, "WTF is in that box?"

Is rewinding okay? The Warning Army demands rewinding as mandatory!!

Great reaction - sorry it cut out at the end on you but it is what it is. Check out '23' and 'Disciple' from that same concert venue. Pau is phenomenal. If you want to see Dany shred a bit then check out 'Z' - same concert... I mean, really if you just start-to-finish that whole concert and post individual reactions to each song, you can't go wrong. They've got some new stuff that has recently been put out a well: 'Automatic Sun' (Studio version where they lay the recorded version over concert footage), 'Que Mas Quieres' - sung in spanish so you'll want to do a bit of homework to understand what it's about but the video was directed by Pau and is great...

woops! what happened at the end? Anyway, yeah, cool reaction. You're noticing stuff right off that many people don't, that's great!

I have no problem with you rewinding and pointing out music aspects. I watch reaction vids for this reason. As someone said, 'If you want to listen to the song without interruption, so do that. This isn't the place where that will happen'. As for my induction to The Warning Army, I was a late-comer. I was listening to Octane on SiriusXM, and from the first punches of the song More, I QUICKLY, and happily, fell in line.

Pau’s voice is pretty great. So far, on the new songs she’s only doing back up harmonies. I hope she has some lead vocals on some new songs.
