Doto really is saving lives out here. I think there’s a lot of people that watch his channel for his energy. No matter how down in the dumps I am, Doto’s videos always get me through.

@5:55 Rhyme is half right. There basically are three different kinds of ultimates in the game. Ultimates like Piccolo & Teen Gohan who have special beam cannon and super kamehaha. Usually these (at least in teen Gohan's case) do extreme damage or stun or both. They don't have mini games or animations but usually have big exploits on defense and can be seen by the screen dimming specifically for these moves. Other ultimates like GT characters, (I forget if Vegeta's final flash is up there) but basically some moves don't allow you to defend but have an overall dip of power. These usually have fixed amounts of damage. Like Super 17. I think final flash is one of these as well. Then lastly the ultimates that most other characters have. Which deal so much more damage if you end up winning vs. losing and/or have additional effects if you end up winning. After Krillin wins his destructo disk ultimate for example, it resets the neutral with you in advantage of you win. Some characters though are better off not using these moves. Like piccolo with hellzone grenade is better off just using special beam cannon and light grenade since they deal more damage and lead to better setups. (I don't know why I know so much about the Budokai-esque games.)

All those ring outs remind me of this one Yu Yu Hakusho game I played. The stages were so small that if you picked this one fire guy, he could literally instantly push out anyone with a single attack at the start (the cpu would never block it).

Given the insane blocks and dodges that you've learned to perform through your Z mode campaign adventures, I'm surprised you were beaten down so badly in these matches. I suppose you can't block a ring out. Thoroughly entertaining fights though with hilarious randomised character match-ups. The 7:30 Energy Field was such a cool moment. Also, I find it hilarious that these mods went about including additional skins and such but still left the aggravating stamina bar in.

Dang, I wanted to see Pikkon do more than get knocked out of the ring Doto! 🤣

Simple rule: never edge in an arena fight with a predictable super. Especially if they can teleport and counter

Doto, give a look to charging mechanics, you can cancel charged attacks with the guard button while charging (if you do it in strings you can combo), and you can teleport without auto-attacking by inputting the opposite direction when you want to teleport

Just throwing it out there, but i think it'd be more intense if you stuck with the basic 3 health bars. You're basically fighting for the ring out, which is it's own fun but having more than one way makes it more exciting IMO.
