Fun Fact: The Adventures In Time Mod is also compatible with The Regeneration Mod, which means that if your Regenerate inside TARDIS while flying, you will Also Crash it.

I did notice that after a few travels, the portal inside the tardis from the previous travel doesn't delete itself so when you want to exit the tardis it drops you off at your previous destination and you're unable to get the tardis back :/

@@Regrify Yeah pretty much every Tardis mod is known for being incredibly buggy. I don't recall a single one that doesn't fall apart the moment you use it slightly too much or break the wrong block

Setting tick speed to anything above 1000 can easily be a deathwish for you game

Side note, you can also use 1x blaze powder to change the console instead of the sonic if you haven’t made one yet! Also with the sonic, in survival mode with the “tardis” setting selected the sonic will set the coordinates for the tardis. In creative mode it will act as the “stattenheim remote” up to 256 blocks away iirc.

ahhh the blaze powder feature is very cool. as for the tardis mode feature i was actually aware of this one, but couldn't get it to work for the review - i think it's because i hadn't bound the sonic properly. maybe I'll show it in a future video!

I am a massive fan of the TARDIS plugin and especially its sonic system with different modules you can apply and a reconfiguration/customisation block, and I love that the AIT sonic has a similar idea with the different modes.

Honestly, some of these features remind me of the TARDIS addons for Garry's mod, with the bigger on the inside effect and seamless walking from the outside to the inside. Very nice mod, and I can't wait to see where the developers take this. I enjoyed the Dalek Mod for giving us the first proper TARDIS, I enjoyed the original TARDIS mod for 1.7.10 for giving us a working interactive console model, I loved the New TARDIS mod for giving us a balance of functionality like dalek mod, and nice interactive models like the TARDIS mod. This might be one of the best TARDIS when the Developers add everything they want to.

i appreciate that you were honest about the bugs!

@@DT10 I will say it was hard work, I'm not a gym person (was v skinny) but I went to the gym in preparation for the trip and I'm so glad I did. I also don't write a diary ordinarily, but again I'm glad I wrote and entry every day in Ecuador. I raised most of my funds washing cars and doing gardening. Hope this helps 😁

Even though the interiors are really big, i think it would be better if there would be some hallways with rooms, just like with the tardis refined mod

I think Surface type *_might_* be the dimensions added by immersive portals for the purpose of dimension stacking, since I ended up in one of those by accident. Going to have to test that out tho

I used sodium 0.5.3, immersive portals 3.3.5, iris 1.6.10, owo lib 0.11.1 and fabric api 0.91.0. let me know if that works

if you haven't already, you should give it a go - it's a fabric mod, so it's compatible with some really good performance mods, which might help to soften the blow a little

I think so! as far as I'm aware the tardis interiors works like any other dimension, so if you can chunkload the nether/end then you can probably do the same for the tardis :)

Immersive Portals It's stuck when using（My computer has an I5 processor from around 2015 and Windows 7）

I’m upset it’s fabric because all the other mods are not in fabric so I can’t make a custom pack with mods from forge but it is a really cool mod thanks for the review

I'm so happy that you're doing an official review on this mod. I've been playing around with it for a few months now, and I was sort of waiting for this day. Thank you so much! Yeah, I was also confused when I switched from one of the Beta versions to the official release, when the binding of the sonic wouldn't work with the telepathic circuits, until I realised there was the sonic port. It does work for the key and remote though! The sonic and remote can remotely disengage the handbrake and fly the tardis to your area. I believe this also automatically activates Protocal 116 (Autopilot) meaning no flight events. You can yourself also activate this, but it means a slower but safer trip. Also, mod is compatible with regeneration mod! Thank you again so much for showcasing this mod, I wish you good luck on your trip.

currently it's only fabric, as it relies on other fabric only mods eg. fabric api. I'm unsure if forge is planned for the future though

I wish this was available on the console edition of bedrock also the blue sonic was the 13th doctors the green tipped one was the 12th doctors and the other one was the 9th, 10th and eleventh

I don't think that's quite right haha, 13th sonic was orange, 12th was the blue one I showcased, 11th was green tipped and not featured in the mod, and 9/10th was the other one I showcased, the coral one :) and yeah, it's a shame it's not available on bedrock, but most java mods aren't since they'd have to be completely rewritten to be available on bedrock.

@@cjclarke5246 I presumed we weren't going by metacrisis numbers, since that's not the most widely accepted doctor numbering, but yes technically you are right. nevertheless, the blue one is definitely peter capaldis, the renaissance one was the 14th doctors (david tennant), and the coral one ws shared by christopher eccelston and david tennant as the 9th and 10th doctors.

@@DT10 in survival, I can see why you wouldn't add the ability to remove it. In order to move the TARDIS, you have to pilot it, but in creative it should definitely be an option.

I remember when THE Doctor Who mod of all time was the "Doctor Who Client Mod". It was one of the most advanced mods at the time... shame that it wasn't updated for years...

I've later learned that these are from the immersive portals mod. I'm not entirely sure what would happen, but I assume it would just send you to whatever default dimension the 'surface type' corresponds with

It's been a LONG time since I've messed with minecraft mods. Can someone give me a good place to start on how to download? This looks amazing and I simply HAVE to try it.

Id start by downloading the correct fabric version, which you can do by googling 'fabric Minecraft'. once you've downloaded it, select version 1.20.1 and just wait for it to install. then just put all of the mods in the description into your '.minecraft/mods' folder and you're good to go!

there are lots of curseforge tardis mods! the mod downloader makes absolutely no difference though, so id highly recommend just downloading from modrinth.

The mod is actually kinda confusing me. My tardis is damaged, but i cant get it to repair. Sonic doesnt go in the door, because when i put it in the port, it wouldnt come back out.

make sure you are shift right clicking to remove the sonic from the port - try pressing F3+b to turn on hitboxes, so you can see specifically where to hit on the console

​@@DT10 This didn't work for me. The mod still has a lot of issues. TARDIS crashed, and I couldn't repair it. When I right-clicked the TARDIS with the sonic, it just opened the doors instead of putting the sonic in the keyhole. I cycled through every mode, but nothing worked. I tried going into the TARDIS (which still had the darkness effect) and putting the sonic in the sonic port, but it wouldn't let me do that either. A lot of the mod is overly complex, and I think some of the scale needs to be dialed back at least a tad. If crashing is going to be a big part of the experience, then the repairing process should be a reliable one. In my hours of testing, it's been extremely touch and go.

make sure you're placing it on soul sand as well, and that it's completely exposed to sunlight

it actually shares some developers with the TARDIS refined mod! both mods co-exist - I'd say TARDIS refined is currently a more polished experience, while AIT offers a larger quantity of features (at the moment anyway).

@@DT10 everything else i use is on forge, forge has been around longer and is better suited for heavy and robust mods in my opinion where as fabric is better suited for lighter mods. From my experience forge is better for making larger mod packs, that have a lot going on, where as fabric is more suited for smaller ones without as many chances for compatibility issues. Honestly it boils down to personal preference, and how you want to mod your game.
