This Detroit Brick Mason Went From Nursing School to Becoming a Licensed Contractor

In this video, we introduce you to a Detroit Mason named Antonio Colley Jr, owner of Colley Construction Services.
His team is tackling a project at a Detroit daycare center where the building owner has been dealing with significant water damage. They're replacing a severely rusted lintel, and will also be doing some tuck pointing to ensure everything is secure.
However, bricklaying and construction services aren't the only thing that is on Antonio's mind. Antonio is also focused on developing a network of solar-powered low-income and transitional housing in East Side Detroit, specifically in the 48213 area.
His vision is to create a wraparound program that provides mental health services, financial literacy, and employment opportunities, as well as offer home ownership to the residents.
Join us as we discuss his vision for revitalizing Detroit, reducing the City's carbon footprint, and providing affordable utilities with solar power.
Antonio also shares personal stories and insights into his mission to break the cycle of recidivism by offering support and opportunities to those transitioning from incarceration.
