We Iranians cook majlisi halva sweets in our homes on special occasions and on some special days. This delicious majlisi halva is mostly cooked to be distributed among the people and is used in religious ceremonies or to remember the past. ;
Halwa Majlisi is known here as a votive sweet and it can be served with tea and it can also be cooked in different models and with different additives that everyone prepares according to their taste. I am writing to you the preparation of this type of halva, which is my mother's recipe, and I hope you will like it

I live in Michigan in the USA. I am a simple old man. I love your videos. They are so beautiful and peaceful and wholesome, something often overlooked and neglected in the world today. I am particularly grateful that you share them from Iran. Politicians and Media often depict all the animosity between our countries. So very sad. When I watch your videos I am reminded how much good there is in the world and how much there is to love in each of our countries. I hope, that someday soon, this love for others will prevail over the selfish interests of politicians.
