Don’t take this the wrong way but, you have recently become my new lullaby to fall asleep to. You’re entertaining enough for me to be exicted about a new video but not enough to keep me awake after 08 PM Your voice is relaxing and easy on the ears and I love how sportsmanlike you are every match. The way you explain the gameplay also lets me lean back without having to read every card being played. Keep it up, I love your videos for many reasons. ❤😴

You're right, thought we still needed to sacrifice an artifact (which we wouldn't have left) to have enough, but with the extra counter and +3/+0 we have exactly 11.

Still watching the decktech, but I want to say I run tarrion's soulcleaver in my pirate deck since it has a lot of synergy with all the artifacts you sacrifice. Seems like it works better than eater of virtue

12:30 If I'm right, you could also have targeted the treasure that the Fleshgorger turned into with the second Larcenist for a little added insurance, making it so two sources are preventing it from changing back.

If you get the chance, you should try Solitary Defiance with cards like Mercurial Spelldancer. Its really good

I've been impressed with the performance of restless spire. It fits perfectly in my wizard deck that runs slightly off-curve.

I find it to be one of the weaker creature lands. The low activation cost is nice for decks that don't play a lot of lands, but those are typically low curve decks that want to avoid tapped lands at all costs. Then once we actually activate it, it's not incredibly impactful. But as you said it might play better in a tempo/control shell, where your cheap spells are mostly removal.

@@LegenVD the deck I run has balmor battlemage combined with young pyro and third path iconoclast. I like to wait until turn 3 so I can get some value out of the opponents removal spell with fading hope, spell pierce, dive down, play with fire, etc. Then later I can pump the 1/1 with balmor ftw. I can see how it is basically only good in that narrow situation though.

Yeah a treasure token is a valid target for the ability, so you can double them up

amazing half my games are azurious control yet you never seem to play against it

Azorius sees little play in the best of one ladder, it's only 6% of the meta. Those games tend to last longer, so they probably stick out more in your mind.

The red player conceding after not reading the cards will never not be funny.

So, funny interaction in Game 1, pretty sure when you Kitesail Larcenist your own Kitesail Larcenist, it loses all abilities, so what this means is that as long as it's now in that treasure form, even if it leaves the battlefield your opponents Fleshgorger would STILL be a treasure because the ability to bring it back is no longer part of the Kitesail Larcenists card. So, if you sacrifice the Kitesail Larcenist treasure his fleshgorger would permanently be stuck as a treasure. I had a similar thing when I used Brutal Cathar to exile an opponents creature and he turned my Cathar into a treasure with Vraska. Edit: This may have been a bug or something in my favor. That or Vraska works differently than the Kitesail Larcenist Edit 2: After testing, I can't get this to work anymore so I guess the person I was playing against just got screwed.

I mean, that would make sense if this were a separate triggered ability like Oblivion Ring, but this is a state tracking clause of the initial effect. I would expect that to keep working even if the permanent later loses that ability.

@@collin4555 So, the thing is that the ability puts the card back into play when it no longer sees the creature in play, not when the ability is no longer there. So when the ability disappears first it doesn't say "well, the creatures no longer there" and put whatever was exiled back in play. Edit: So I decided to test it and it does not work. Which is very odd as it did work that way when like I said, my Brutal Cathar which had something exiled was turned into a treasure by a vraska

@@collin4555 You seem to be right. I've made multiple attempts to recreate the circumstances myself, but it's no longer just exiling whatever I have exiled with Brutal Cathar. Unfortunate for the guy I was playing against when that happened.

@@Dot_Eleven Was your Cathar flipped to the werewolf side? From what i know about layers it shouldn't make a difference, but you never know. This game is literally an endless feed of thinking you know the rules and then being proven wrong lol
