Yeah, if you choose dagger duchess, i think you must choose a fast cycle deck to defend your towers, i can't see another options

I'd argue that beatdown decks can run her as well, but they'll require a high DPS card like inferno dragon. The advantage they'll have is that they wouldn't have to defend against cheap cycle cards and can focus on building big pushes. But things can get hard in double and triple elixir, when the opponent can just spam when the daggers are low.

Beatdown decks counter it, unless your deck has a solid matchup against Beatdown it’s a rough matchup
