This Could Destroy My Channel! Why Did I Do This??

I'm either a great bargain shopper or the dumbest person on planet Earth. I purchased a 2002 Mercedes E320 Wagon at IAA for only $300. But there is some damage involved. In this video, I'll talk about front end body damage and how it's usually easy to repair. This may not be the case here! I'll also give you a walk around video showing you what works and what doesn't. A Mercedes W210 rebuild is possible, but there could be some major expense involved.
Be sure to leave a comment and let me know your thoughts. As always, please share and subscribe!!

Because you love the W210 so much. The waggon has one of the biggest trunk space in its class of its time.
Keep her, she's a long one, interior is awesome. You called the name, Professor. Lola is just too cute.

Pull the fender apron using the jaguar as an anchor , new body parts and you're golden W210s are the best
You got this Mike! Pulling that inner fender section out will be the biggest challenge, but doable!
The fact that it's been well looked after, and in great condition for the year, I'd roll the dice on this one Mike. As for the name , how about "One Eyed Willie" due to the fact it's had one headlight punched out. Looking forward to you stripping down in the back garden, the car that is 😅. Laters chuckles. Gary 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Would love to see a video of you at the pick a part getting all the parts. Good stuff.
W210 is such a rock solid Mercedes. My friend has one with almost 500k on it. Gold with a black interior is rare. Most gold ones the interior was tan. Change the rear suspension hydraulic actuators (cheap). No power steering because the wreck is right where the PS tank is.
The condition of it is so good, besides the damage from the accident. This would be worth repairing and even putting a premium on it as other than the accident damage, it looks like it was well maintained...almost babied. Might also be relatively quick as you don't have to deal with drastic problems all over the place. You can name the car The Professor.
I think you can fix this one up and make it look fine. She’s a Smashin’ Wagon. Good Luck Mike 👍🥇
Totally fixable!! You got this Mike I believe in you I would love to see this!!! That car is so nice

Mike the wagon whisperer!
This one is actually worth the effort to fix, even if it takes some time to find a suitable “Cubanite silver” (a/k/a “beige”) donor car. As for a name, I suggest “Jennings,” in honor of Donald Sutherland. His character in “Animal House” would have eventually had one of these wagons, probably after driving a Volvo Amazon until its wheels fell off.
I love both you're wagons Mike! The E320 is such a great looking car with so much trunk room. Wish cars like this were still made. Interesting color indeed as well. You should be able to fix that and maybe even do some straightening yourself. Name idea could be Francine. Look forward to more on this!

My mom had one & it was a tank. Never died. I would buy it from u after it is fixed! 😊. I would name her Sabrina.
Hey Mike nice one, we had a lot of those in Finland. Mainly taxis etc. They go forever but rust was a big problem.

Well, at least pull the fender and wheel liner. Radiator support obviously dead. Maybe there is still hope as long as the a pillar at that door hinge is not too bad. It looked pretty funky. Surprised the driver’s door aligns as well as it does.
Best wood in years :) 5:43
Looks like a well kept and much loved Benz.. No airbags set off, so wondering how this gem got damaged??? Love the channel Mike!! Rescuing the coolest cars!!
Mike, you are to come out in better shape than you think. Just be patient and keep your eyes and ears open!!! Always the best!!
Love a 210 E-Class! She looks beautiful! Makes me wanna live in the USA basue you have lovely cars like this. Most 210s have rusted away here in the UK. Can't wait for the series.
Consider "Glow-wagon" for name. Because the color . When you washed it it startet to glow.. Will even more after repair. Belive and Million gretings from Germany. Go Mike go!!!!
Impact been hard enough that even drivers door has shifted its position.. not good.. needs a frame machine
@destruct61
5 күн бұрын
The driver door did not get shifted the fender got pushed into the door which is why they collided with each other If you go back to the beginning of the video and look at it on the tow truck you can see the gaps are still perfect between the driver door and the rear driver side passenger door
@CoreMaster111

@@destruct61 Door is definitely crooked. If you look at the door more in the 45 degree angle you can see how they don't line up.
Looks good Mike. Most of the damage is bolt on and bolt off stuff.
Awesome car!! I bought a 2002 E320 4matic wagon in LA and drove it back to Indiana. Cruised to 155mph across Texas. It glides. Super smooth. The Ex wrecked it. I miss that car… Good Luck Mike!!
Mike just put a blind fold on when you drive you'll never see the damage. 😀
I would call it the Wolfgang Wagon, since it was playing opera when you turned it on and it’s kinda fancy on the inside
Definitely was a well cared for car. Looking forward to seeing her all fixed!
If you can get the parts at a decent price i feel you did really good, if it was me with that low of miles id fix it up and keep it!......nice score Mike cant wait to see you fix her up......Stay Up, Hard, and Healthy brother. Love the video's......🔥🔥🔥❤️👍🏽💯
Absolutely love this Mercedes S210. You scored on this one Mike, well done. Beautiful condition and is very fixable. Can't wait to see this series. The leather is in excellent condition and would greatly benefit with some leather conditioner to keep it supple. Go on Mike this is going to be great.
Great stuff Mike. Love the wagons
that's a really well-maintained S210 in a great and unusual color combo, I really hope you can save this one! FWIW - if there is power steering fluid leaking from under the PS pump, it's most likely coming from the o-ring where the reservoir connects to the pump. the reservoir also contains a built-in filter, so replacing that is a good idea in general. a new good quality Lemforder reservoir is only $17 at FCP Euro. it's held on by a horseshoe clip like the coolant temp sensor, and you know much fun those can be! but generally it's a pretty easy fix.
20 years ago I had several models of the w210 ....loved them so much ...mostly avant-garde v6 estates ...recently decided to buy a another one ...found a rust free mint 240 (2.6) avant -garde estate...final edition ...it’s my daily ....it’s awesome . Fix it it’s well worth saving , a rust free one is hard to find these days.
Yo Mike!!! This is s keeper bro.. nice rims.. Macco fresh paint tint!!!! This should stay as the channel car!!!🎉
Amazing how a clean damaged area looks less damaged.. two trips to the pull a part yard and you’ll be good to go..
Great video and car, new project😎🔥
Great video mike, glad your back in the saddle again
Great color combo on her Mike and looking forward to the upcoming repair videos.
Love this! That color is rare. I’ve only seen a few in all my years. The all weather mats and cargo mat is worth $$$$. I am looking for the oe cargo mat and some folks was $500 for a used one. Rear headrests shouldn’t be too hard. If the frame is not gone it will make a great car. Love mine!
Solid buy Mike, I look forward to following along. I hope you fix it up enough to replace the Volvo wagon!
Mike, you did awesome on this find. I own the same wagon in gold and love it! Very safe, comfortable and durable. Take care of it and it will take care of you. It’s worth the fix and you’ll be very pleased. I would buy this wagon again when the time comes. We named ours Gherkin.. being it’s profile resembles a German pickle 🤣 enjoy your channel btw 👍
Loving the wagons. Keep it up!
Repair it if affordable, your right, it seems someone looked after it nicely.
Mikey, Its absolutely repairable ... body works ( most body shops can fix ) + power steering issue ( hopefully not a big one ).
Claremore here Really looking forward to this rebuild, you can do it!!!!!
As soon as I saw it on the truck I could see the inner fender was bent ahead of the strut tower. You need to see if the strut tower & chassis leg are bent before going any further. If the tower & leg are good, you could just pull out the inner fender, reshape it & call it good enough.. I think it was worth the money as a parts car, just not sure if its a viable rebuild project! Maybe look for another with superficial passenger side damage, or dead mechanically, & use this as a donor? Interesting the airbags didn't go off..
I'm so happy to see you take this one on !!
It's probably a $3-3.5k fix professionally if you buy the parts and supply the body shop. Figure $400 per panel (bumper/fender/hood/door/blend) plus pulling the apron.
Great serie! Can’t wait to see the next episode! Keep up this good work! Greetings from Milan, Italy!

Lumpy could be a good name for the New Merc. Keep up the good work

1:25 oohhhh it looks amazing but why did they leave that horrible Mercedes on the back of your new tow truck?🤔😂 Cheers Pat 🇦🇺
Considering some of your other projects this looks like a winner
Well Mike, at least it's not a W220
Love it! Hope you get something like a Jeep sometime! Keep it up Mike we love to see it!
Maybe you can get Vevor to sponsor you and send you one of those tiny frame machines? That would help you pull out some of the bent pieces so you can see exactly what you are working with.
Duuuuude I have got to buy one of these thru ins auction. They are the best MB and so cheap man What an amazing color combo!im ready for this kind of project. Great buy dude!
Congrats on buying a car worth saving. You got better since than Randy😂
She’s clean! Well worth fixing up even if you have to paint the new parts
Hey Mike, been a subscriber to you and Randy for six years. Always enjoyed the content from both of you. A good name for this Mercedes is Frankenstein’s wagon. Hopefully, this Mercedes won’t give you issues like the Satan Mercedes and the Volvo. The Volvo was telling you to leave me sitting under a tree and don’t drive me.
With that fender, call it Crunchy Wagon!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA! Another great video, keep it up!!!!
I love those old benz wagons! Even the new ones look good.!
Great buy. Totally repairable Mike...
Great content!
Great buy Mike.. Teach Benzo and Lola how to drive it😊
I predict this to be you daily driver within 2 months! Parts are easy to find - good buy imo!
It would be fun to watch you fix it!
I think you did great with this one. Fix it for sure. Even if you have to take it to Maco or Santa to paint the parts.
Mike!!!!!! Nooooooo!!!!!! It's the worst Mercedes EVER!!! No, well done, this is what it's all about! Interesting challenge! 😊
Tried to warn you about keeping the Volvo. Glad you're back in Merc land. Looking forward to seeing it fixed
This will be a good project. Also, I love how all pet owners tell their pet how much of a good boy/girl they are at least once per day. I am equally as guilty.
Hey Cousin!! I think you should call her Gretta cause she's got how dare you written all over her face!! lol
Hey Mike, I would keep her if I was you. Fix the front end, hey presto new car. You should call her Heidi....😅. Love the channel, keep up the good work.
What happened to that car to do that much damage! Either way if anyone can sort it you are the best man for the job Mike. Plus enjoyed the first wash
Good machine and fix it, you’ll have more subscribers 😊
This might not be the video to ask, but you should do a review of the Lectric eBike. They have quite a few models to choose from and I think the XPeak is probably one of the best for off road biking. They also have foldable ones that can break down and fit into the back of an SUV.
I think it's going to be a good Car your probably going to need to take her to a Frame shop but after she will sell for a good profit, I think it's a sweet ride so I would name her Sugar 👍
It seems like a great car. perhaps maaco can paint the replacement fender and hood too match. Name the car Lola or Eva Gabor
That would look so good with a carbon fiber hood and upgraded head lights. Maybe some sportier wheels.
Call your car Needy because it needs a lot of love. I had a 2003 C240 wagon that got totaled parked outside my condo.
It was a nice buy Mike 😎😎👍👍 You stole that Mercedes
Into it for under $750 is a win. You could get $2500 all day for the engine and trans alone. The interior is worth another $2500 all day. The glass is good for another $1000 Then $400 for scrap of the hulk.
Heck yea Mike! Fix it up, for sure.
OMG Mike your Camera is the smartest to protest in this video 😉
Awesome deal for $300. You could tow with it and lots of room for car parts. Great job.
I love the W 210.They are higy Quality Cars and have plenty of room. i hab 2 of them and drove them for 600k Kilometers.Good Deal,Mike😀
Hello Mike aka Monkey Wrench Mike. The Mercedes Benz E 320 is a good looking van even though it's got drivers side damage. Good luck on getting it fixed.
I love it. Looks like a new daily once it’s done. Good name would be Brown Betty.
We all agree here at the house that you should keep her and let her live .she still wants to live and drive an other day .she is sweet looking 😍
I think she will look fantastic when repaired it's obvious she was looked after before the crash.
That’s not going to as big a repair as you think Mike, strip it down and use a ratchet strap to pull out the damage and use something big as an anchor (the Jag springs to mind) then try to get parts in colour and hey presto some nice profit 🏴👍🏻
I am shocked the bags didn’t blow. With the amount of the damage unless someone replaced them already
I would christen thee…Brunhilde!
I think you scored on this one, but it depends on what you find as you tear it down and purchase the parts. Hope it works well for you. Look forward to watching you work your magic. Call her “Benigon”- aka Benz-Wagon
Nice find, you can totally fix this!
Here is what I have learned about junkyard body parts and metallic paint…. Even if you get the correct code, the Chances of it matching up is next to nill… too many production variances, plus age…. So perhaps a better course of action would be, find the parts any color as cheap as possible and leave room in the budget for a spray and blend (not full respray).
Now this is the one for you Mike keep the benz
Dont worry Mike. Just start Working on the car and before you know it its fixt.
Hmm, almost to nice to rip it apart but it would be the engine for the SLK (If it is still around). You can still always electrify it, maybe with a school mechanic class to make it their project..
