Wow, an actual open world level! Definitely worth a star -- so well-made, creative, diverse design, so many ways to go yet completely avoids degenerating into a labyrinth. Thumbs up!

Hah, I remember there was a really strange glitch level that looked absolutely impossible to beat ; it had to do with going through a muncher... or something. Ryukahr couldn't figure it out.

EDIT 4: 18:32 - I bet you feel stupid now, _Mr too good for shades!_ If you had the shades on you could add another item on to your list making it a list of three instead of awkwardly trailing off. CONCLUSION: Brilliant video but a *SEVERE* lack of shades. 1/10

I actually like death montages in this game Ryu kept tricking me and getting my hopes up for nothing

for the saw blade map at the end, he should have made his strategy jumping only on the left side of the mushroom, one jump on each mushroom, instead of jumping to both sides of it. it would be half the jumps, if he could get the rhythm down

Hours??? I say two tops. Skill levels like these are what makes Ryu, Ryu. I vote to see the final level flagged!!! 🚩

Love your videos, man. I don't even have a Wii U or any nintendo console as of now, but watching you play SMM is still extremely enjoyable, and because of this channel I'm saving up money to get a Wii U so I can get back into Mario. Keep it up!

You can get a used one for 100-200$ on amazon. If you have to save up for it maybe you should wait until they release SMM2 or SSMDeluxe and bundle it on the switch? Gamestop usually has wii us for around the same price, so maybe you can trade in old games you don't want for it. Now that I think about it you can trade in games for credit at amazon too.

I love the little recap that Ryu does at the end of each video with the music playing. It brings me back to when kids' shows would do the same thing after their mild adventures.

Should STAR, need more levels like that! It wasn't a troll level, not once did you get trolled. It just had different options, and as you said, you were rewarded for exploring. I wish more people took their time to make more levels like this, with multiple ways to reach the exit. Best level I've seen you play in quite some time!

けっこう means that “pretty much” 余る or あまる means loose, or spare time.

I find it ironic how while Ryu was playing that level, I was doing a mission in Naruto Blazing which was titled "The pain of living"

Same... back when i was trying to find a good Mario Maker youtuber I first found dashie, who was pretty funny, but now it seems like his target audience has somehow gotten younger despite the constant swears

Things that video creators notice that others don't: The verbal cues you give yourself, so when watching a playback, you know where and what to edit. "Cue video montage" for example. Keep up the good work, Ryu. ;)

lactAse is the enzym to split it in our Body; lactOse is the milksugar, so yeah most cheese contains LactAse because they build it in the production, that`s why lactoseintolerant People can eat it. And i am lactoseintolerant i have to know...

I have seen ALL of Ryu's SMM vids, so I always have to wait a week for a new one

This run had all the classic types of Super Expert levels and then some more, and while that last level was as welcoming as the gates of Mordor I was still impressed by your efforts to make the impossible happen. The BOTW level was actually pretty good even with some janky platforming, I approve your decision since that level had originality and fair tricks! :)

That level was like dark souls. It encourages exploration with secrets but punishes you for trying new things, usually with dark pits that are pretty similar to kaizo blocks.

I’m sorry Ryu but I would actually love to see you beat this one. You’re the only human who could probably ever do it.

"terrible life decision" is one of those levels where it demands you do specific jumps repetitively, so in retrospect, you've already completed the stage. the lack of "check points" makes this a stage that should only exist for people to do a "TAS" run with, and this is different from having to do multiple "double shell jumps" which oddly would be easier and more forgiving to do than having to jump from a few pixels of space over a death plane and to another couple pixels of space.

All that SSB got you a little rusty, lol :p Love the vids homie!
